Bayside Bure

Bayside Bure is different to other hostel accommodation in that it is a self-contained private bungalow so you are the only guests and you have the whole place to yourselves. It is truly a place to chill out and get away from it all as you have both privacy and a white sandy beach out front, yet you are only 15 minutes away from town (by bus or car).

Bayside Bure is located at Lesiaceva Point, 6km from Savusavu town and just a stone\'s throw away from the famed Jean Michel Cousteau Resort. Just across the road and only 40 steps or so from a white sandy beach, our bure (bungalow) sits on a grassy knoll overlooking the crystal clear waters of the bay. Swimming and kayaking are great at high tide. Enjoy incredible snorkelling along the edge of the reef or just lounge on the lilos (water airbeds) and enjoy the sunshine....

The accommodation comprises a fully-screened bedsitter (beds/living in one) furnished with two single day beds, lounge chairs, shelving and a wardrobe. The bathroom has hot shower and laundry facilities. Both the shower and laundry open outside for easy access from the beach!

Our full kitchenette looks out over the bay and is equipped with stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, sandwich maker, crockery and cutlery. Basic pantry starter supplies, cleaning agents and iron and ironing board are provided for convenience. All linen and towels supplied.

A radio/CD player, TV and DVD player are bonuses for those who wish to keep up with the news. A telephone (local calls only) is also provided for convenience. Sip your morning cuppa on either the covered deck outside the kitchen or the sundeck, all while listening to the waves breaking onto shore.

A guest compendium with helpful information about Savusavu is provided. Minimum two night stay. Housekeeping provided on request at minimal cost.

Scooter or car rental is available at special rates from Trip\'n\'Tour, as well as activities such as diving, hiking, biking and fishing.
