Awesome spot right in the Jewish quarter. Near all the good bars and cafes. Only stayed one night but everything was spot on. Good cooking facilities, clean loos. Just no aircon in the room which sucks, but it wasn't a hot day so wasn't too bad.

Good hostel, didn't spend a huge amount of time there but everything seemed pretty decent. The only downside was that there was a launderette downstairs that heated up the upstairs common area, therefore the common area was roasting so most of the time was spent in the rooms. Really enjoyed my time in Budapest though. Seemed a very relaxed, clean decent hostel.

The hostel has a really nice vibe. It is close by the famous ruin pubs and not so far away from the city center. There are cheap places to eat all around and also some supermarkets close by. The metro is 5 min away. I would come back.

One of the most unique hostels we stayed at during our travels. Had a great atmosphere that certainly rubbed off on all of its guests. The communal area was the highlight for me with the solitary table that everyone ate on, the great kitchen facilities and excellent choice of music which in all gave the hostel an incredibly homely feel. The rooms themselves were similarly impressive with comfy beds, lockers and fans. Also ideally located with some of the best bars and clubs only minutes away.

This place has everything - an excellent location, very helpful and friendly staff, clean bathrooms and decent sleeping quarters. It may not be a party hostel, but it's just around the corner from all the best pubs and bars. Highly recommended!

A hostel within walking distance to all the major sights in Budapest. Also walk able distance to night-life in Pest. The common area was nice and people did socialise - the air con also gets a massive thumbs up! However, the rooms are incredibly basic - probably the most uncomfortable bed I slept in during my time in Europe. Staff are accommodating and approachable!

Would of liked aircon because our room was boiling hot but other than that we were very very happy and had a lovely stay.

Decent hostel, facilities were good except there was no air con in the room which meant sleeping was near impossible in mid summer heat. Very loud from the street at night. Staff were great, really friendly and it's located very near a train station meaning it was easy to get around the city.

Good location, friendly staff, safe. Bathrooms are mediocre though and there didn't seem to be any atmosphere. Wrong hostel if you want a party vibe.

Hostel is in a great position and very close to loads of ruin bars. Staff are friendly and help with booking the spas and tours. On the other hand, the dorm rooms really smelt and had the most pathetic fan making it so hard to sleep without waking up in a puddle of sweat. Get what you pay for, we had some crackin' nights!

Really good location. Staff were really friendly and we had a great time here!

There is a cozy common room, kitchen and a fridge that anyone can use. Sometimes Wi-fi didn't work but not often. I slept in a room facing a road, so it was a little noisy when falling asleep. Though you can easily sleep when you are tired due to the trip!

I had a great stay at Bazar hostel. Everything was amazing, especially the stuff and people in there. Thanks!

Stayed in a private double room. Room was big enough and bathroom was more than adequate. No air conditioning in the room, only in the common areas. Common area had a great social atmosphere. Check in system was clunky for us, not sure if its a recurring problem but prefer just regular paperwork to a computer check in system. All in all it was a nice place to stay in.

This hostel is in a really great location. The staff also went out of their way to be helpful. For example, I had an issue with my credit card while booking an airport shuttle online, and the manager booked the shuttle FOR ME using his card and let me pay him cash. The only small issue I had was that my bunk didn't have an individual plug/light like bunks typically do, and the wifi didn't catch very well into the dorm. Wifi in commons area was great though. Great experience in a wonderful city!

Great staff, lovely atmosphere and so central. Cool vibes and spacious enough rooms. Bathrooms were clean. Only issue was that the aircon only worked in the communal area. The rooms were so hot at night.

I had a nice experience. The staff even didn't charge me despite I had a check out delay after a hard night ;) The only thing which could be improved is the fact that the rooms have no AC. It was super hot so many people were simply sleeping in the common room which has AC. But still I would recommend this hostel!

The location was great, just some minutes away from Vaci Utca, which is one of the most touristic street near the rivers. Just around the corner there was a great bohemian boulevard full of young people. The service was quite fine, the receptionists were kind and disposed to help. If you are a sensitive sleeper I would recommend to bring some earplugs, otherwise you won't be able to sleep because of the noise of the street. All in all, I highly recommend this place.
