Nice hostel, the only thing is that you need nice neightbours. We could hear (and understand) every word spoken in the next room. Nice staff, close to the metro (20 min. to Barcelona) and to the beach (10 min walk). Not always hot showers, good common areas, wifi only works in the common area. Liked staying there. Airconditioning in the room, but it only cools the room a few degrees while being quite loud (but it makes a nice change to the neightbours noise and the garbage men at night ;)). :)

Altogether, the stay was excellent!! For me, location was perfect - really close to the beach and perfect if you want to see normal neighbourhood of the city, not just same tourist faces=) Atmosphere in the hostel is very pleasant, staff super helpful, cleanliness is 150%, facilities excellent and new! Breakfast was a pleasant addition, if only it could be served a little longer, cause everybody comes at 9.45 and stands in the queue )) Shower would be better if movable, not fixed on the wall

I had a wonderful stay in the Be Dream Hostel. The staff was super nice and helped me when i lost my credid card. Especially the Rasta man on the reception, who is a super funny guy, was trying to help me in that bad situation. Go ask him what you can do in Barcelona, he can tell you the best restaurants and local places. =) I would recommend the hostel to everybody who wants to spend some nice days at the beach and discover the city.

Nice hostel in a quiet neighborhood with a good vibe, not too far from downtown and the beach. All the shops you would need are close by, overall a very good deal if you want cheap accommodation in Barcelona. Highly recommended

Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful experience at this hostel! The metro was only a 5 minute walk away, and same for the beach. They have a kitchen where you can store and prepare meals so this helps save money. The rooms and bathrooms were Clean and spacious, free wifi and a super chilled out common area and courtyard. And the price is right! :)

It's not a horrible hostel, but it's far from good. First off, the hostel is VERY far from Barcelona (not a huge problem because of the metro system), secondly, the staff disappears from the front desk at random times throughout the day leaving guests waiting for a long time, and finally, they allow families and seniors in,not saying that's a bad thing, but it creates a different environment. There are cheaper/cooler places in the city if your looking for value. All that said, it's not horrible.

The location was beautiful and very close from the beach. It was away from the big traffic and I enjoyed it a lot. Metro that is in front of the hostel will take you to the centre within 15 minutes. Staff was friendly and many supermarkets and cafes were nearby. However, sleeping in a dorm was pretty much impossible. Would recommend a private room.

Nice hostel - the key elements are ok - good student atmosphere and tidy. Alltogether recomended, however there are some minuses: The location is tooo far away. Maybe it's worth paying extra 3 Euro for a hostel in the city centre and save half an hour in metro traveling one way. The kitchen closes on night (oh my god why?) There is no cattle in the kitchen.

Beside the best beach around Barcelona (chilled, not swamped with tourists), beside the metro, and just 20 minutes to city centre. Advice: watch your belongings, Barcelona is thief paradise. I had a top (of all things!) stolen from my bed, a first for me staying in a hostel, so put ALL your stuff in the lockers. Staff were friendly and helpful as possible, great communal atmosphere. I recommend the restaurant 'Esphera' near the hostel (lovely staff, FUNKY, delicious 'fusion' burgers & bravas!)

It´s a nice place to stay if you want to hangout at the beach that is not full of tourists, so it´s a bit far from the city center. However, it is right next to the metro stop

Located at the end of the metro line, so it's a little hard to get there at night. There's a night bus, but it's quite a long ride. Only real down point, though. The hostel is close to the Badalona beach, which is great, and has a nice feeling overall.

The hostel was a bit far out of the centre but it was in a nice area with a really nice beach. We got the double bedroom which had two single beds pushed together at different heights. There were people doing work on the building early in the morning. So we were woken at 8am by drilling in the walls every morning. The airi-conditioning started leaking water all over the floor and it took a day or so for them to fix it. But they did give us a mop so we could clean the water up ourselves!

Very cool environment here! The staff is all young, and will even join everyone if they decide to drink and party through the night. One of the best hostels I ever stayed at! If I ever travel through Barcelona, I will visit here again! Wifi doesn't work unless you are in the common area, but that's how you meet people!

Excellent place! Not actually in Barcelona, but very close to public transportation, the beach, and conveniences like ATMs and food markets. Staff was incredibly helpful and the rooms were decent. Huge lockers and everything was locked/unlocked by a personal key card. Free breakfast was just cereal, coffee and toast, but still free. Great for groups or individual travelers because the common room was always full of activity. Definitely a party hostel. I would 100% come back next time I'm there!
