The street we had to walk though didn't seem really same. We kind of felt a little unconfortable. For the atmosphere it totally depends on who is staying at the hostel. But when we stayed there, there were a big group of young people always surfing on their computers (in the evening). The staff is really nice, always there to answer any questions. And we liked the guy who proposed a Party-tour! :) We didn't know the city that much and wanted to go out.

Very clean and great helpful staff! Loved the security systems with key cards and large lockers. Also I appreciated the gender seperated shower rooms that was a nice touch.

The room I stayed at was very small for six people. They have free-wifi and three desktop computers in common room. But, both of them didn't work well while I was there.

Great hostel! Loved the staff, and the hostel was very clean. It is on a semi-sketchy street, but in the day time it is perfectly fine, and it is very near Las Ramblas and some great clubs, so definitely worth it! They also do free pub crawls and guided tours, which are amazing!!

+ friendly personal, big common room, free walking tour en barcelona, free breakfast (but there are only sweet things, and only till 10 o clock...), big lockers, clean bathrooms, kitchen for free use, free internet - surrounding in the red light district: dont feel very safe walking there, small rooms and no possibiliity to open windows is very bad sleeping with 5 others in one room

I would prefer this hostel for it's location which is quite near to La rambla & also for it's security of luggage. Breakfast was quite good. Airport bus to both BCN T1 & T2 were just 10 min by walk. Green line just about 5-6 min by walk.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. It has a great lounge area to hang out in and the rooms are quiet. We had a great stay.

We stayed 2 nights in the hostel. the staff is very nice and helpful! the way to the Rambla is a strange street with strange people but i wouldnt call it not safe, you just feel awkward when walking along that street.

We had a great stay, close to things we wanted to be near and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hostel itself is safe and secure, we felt very comfortable there. The only negative thing we have to say is that the hostel flooded the week before we were there, so things were very damp and none of our clothes or towels dried during our stay. Our room didn't have a window to the outside and was directly beside the laundry room so it smelled strongly of chlorine.

The Location was a close walk to the good areas. About 5 minutes to Las Ramblas. The area itself seems a bit dodgey at night. They also cramed a lot of bunks in our room, so was a tight squeeze. They also had the heating in the common rooms too hot. The walking tour and Bar crawl were worth going on. Would come back to stay again.
