They need to add more staff, a lot off noise in the bedrooms during high hours in the night. Not that clean, the cleaning staff is not enough. Staff at reception is 100% good, good tips, great smiles and always ready to heap. PLEASE LOWER THE VOLUME OF THE MUSIC.

For me was really nice! But the location isn´t good, the street is so lugubrious and not so safety, but well only at night you have to be carefull, the rest was very nice, the staff WOOOW!! Congrats

I had a great stay at Be Mar Hostel. It's very well located, just closed to the main street. You cross it and you're in center town Bari gotic. Room and bathroom are clean, the big box in bedroom to put you stuffs are so convenient, no worry. The staff give you good advise such as place to eat cheap tapas in a nice restaurant. Really a good place to enjoy Barcelona!

The hostel was in a bad neighborhood that I did not feel safe walking around at night during. The air conditioner in our room was broken and I asked the front desk to fix it at least 4 times. They didn't even clean up the giant puddle of water on our floor from it. The breakfast was fine and we liked the free tour a lot. The common area was always filled with people and very loud. The boys who stayed in our room were very disrespectful as well.

The hostel was a bit of a walk from the center hub of things, but it made up for it with the great staff, free walking tours, awesome pub crawls, and clean rooms/bathrooms. Honestly one of the better hostels I've stayed in for the price!

I liked this hostel. It was clean and had a good atmosphere. The only thing that I didn´t like was that they don´t tell you that once you put your things in the lockers, you can´t open them back up!! They should tell you that!

Teenager groups were really annoying as they would make noise in the hallway during the night. The structure is ok, although they could have more bathrooms and toilets. Also I booked a 8-bed dorm and they put me in a 10-bed. Power outlets were a problem, since there were only 2 in a 10-bed dorm. Activities, staff and free breakfast were cool. Location is close to everything but a bid dodgy, so be careful specially at night.

I had a great time staying at Hostel Be Mar. Big private lockers next to your bed, nice communal room to meet new friends and it\'s clean! I highly recommend this hostel. :-)

Very nice atmosphere, and located near la rambla. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pub crawl was a lot of fun, I would recommend doing it with the hostel. Free breakfast was actually pretty good - for it being free. The area the hostel was located in, although a good starting point for sightseeing, was a bit sketchy. I felt safe though, and never had a problem. Nice big lockers. Good stay overall, I would recommend!

This is the perfect hostel !! It's well situated, but you have to be careful when you are at La Rambla !! It's the place of the stealers, prostitued and durg dealers ! But it's just by night ! It's close to everything: beahc, main attractions and bars. You will always meet interesting people there and many activities are proposed in the area. Really, it's my prefered one in Barcelona !

This is a great hostel, specially for the younger crowd. They offer free walking tours, pub crawls, etc which you can do with the people you meet at the hostel. Huge lockers next to every bed with secure card locks. Breakfast included (cereal, toast, coffee, OJ, etc). It's close to Ramblas which makes it great to go out, but the walk to and from the hostel can feel a little sketchy at times. The kitchen is kind of small so you might have to wait a bit if you're planning to cook. Great staff too!

good to relax at the lounge.kind staffs! on the other hand, couldn't sleep well because of the mattress it's broken down deeply!some shower booths were out of order I took a shower with cold water. most important thing is the area which isn't safe around the hostel. always crowded with local people, tourists, prostitute, should watch out for pickpockets. I had 2wallets stolen, another guest too. i wasn't alone, people a lot there though, be careful someone who come to you to talk as a joke!

The best part of this hostel was its atmosphere - very trendy, accessible, and upbeat. The hostel offers lots of events like walking tours of the city, quiz nights, party tours, etc. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. Every bed gets a huge locker where you can store all of your belongings securely. Breakfast in the morning was great and there were lots of cool people hanging around to talk to. Only bad part was the location. Close to Las Ramblas but a very sketchy walk home at night

Shared room was very small and a bit too warm. Lockers for every bed, clean bathroom facilities. Breakfast included, good location. For 2 nights stay it was ok, but 8 people in 1 small room would be too much for a longer stay. Good worth for money, would recomend it for young people who expect only comfy place to sleep and short distance to La Rambla with all night life it provides.

The key system is great, streamlined and easy. One electronic card opens the front door, your room door and also an electronic locker big enough for your backpack and anything else. I recommend staying here if you want something secure and no easy

From 2 backpacking girls on a budget: Biggest party hotel there is. Was extremely loud our first night (a wednesday), people turning on the light in the room and falling around in a drunk haze. Wifi only works in the lobby and sometimes goes off. We stayed four nights and EVERY night the bathrooms were out of toilet paper from midnight to 9 in the morning. Fantastic location made up for as bad as it could have been. Right next to the La Rambla, cept you have to walk through a few hookers first.
