Haha, you´re a funny man Gabriel, but thank you for your honest opinion... We will get some more sympathy for the men. To tell you the truth we just bought amazingness for the girls and our budget didnt allow us to buy sympathy for the men, but we´re on top of it. Muito obrigado meu irmão!

The staff was extremely unhelpful and even gave us false information. They were only concerned with drinking and spending time with the girls of our hostel instead of being useful receptionists.

Hi Daniela, We apologise if one of our staff members was extremely unhelpful. I´m sure the person in question had a bad day, which happens to everybody. Not excusable though, but we do our best. False information is not a good thing, allthough it was me personally (the cute ginger guy, according to your friend) recommending you girls 7 or 8 places to go to, and on return you told me you visited 2 places. Sorry if those were not to your liking. If you went to Chupitos Bar they would´ve for sure given you a birthday Monica Lewinsky shot. Drinking on the job is not really responsible, neither is being useless. We are working hard on our usefulness, and I must say, we are doing an amazing job :). All because of your opinion being important to us. Keep travelling, keep smiling. Kind regards, Wouter

The staff was amazing. They went out of the way to make us feel comfortable. For suggestion sake - I could have done with an electric port close to bed for recharging empty batteries overnight and at max an individual reading lamp with each bed. Everything else was just fine.

Thank you Rouble, We are very happy you enjoyed your stay, and it´s a pleasure to hear you appreciate our work. Long live the people! We wanted to let you know that we took your suggestion as an important one, and thus we equiped every single bed with a light and an electric port. Next time you pass barcelona, and you decide to stay with us, you will see your wish came true and because of you we can give our future travellers a better experience. We thank you Againa :), Wouter

On the whole, the experience at this hotel was satisfying. Areas that would require significant improvement: there should be no extra charge for a duvet at least during winter period; hot water in a shower is a must without exception (there was none); the hair dryer was set to work for only 2-3 minutes (why?!); the shortage of soup bowls and other kitchen utensils; the walking tours are not really for free and should not be falsely advertised.

Stayed in one of their apartments, which had enough cooking facilities to make basic meals as well as a TV, balcony, WiFi which was surprising for the price- overall a very good value for money choice. Also, the apartments are closer to the main street than the hostel which makes it an even better location.

everything was nice in the hostels except for the receptionists who were not helpful and seem very busy always doing other things. They do not actually offer you nor suggest you things to do in the city but will just give you a map. That sucks!

It was a real pleasure to be there even if it was only for one night. I really enjoyed staying there. I met some really nice people and people working there were just perfect. :-)

Staff was very nice and helpful. The common room was cool, very versatile. Beds were clean, lockers were very useful. Good location with Ramblas on one side and a metro stop on the other. Overall nice experience

Good, clean hostel. Struggles to find a power socket in the dorm but no other problems. The tours were fantastic and the staff was really friendly.

There were bugs underneath my bed, and when I arrived someone was already sleeping in my bed. The hairdryer in the women´s bathroom didn´t work, and cleanliness overall was average. The hostel is in a great location and the staff was friendly; however, I expected a lot more for my money´s worth.

A decent place in the middle of the red light district but if felt quite safe and there was no trouble. Everything was clean and very secure. We were supposed to have a double bed but it turned out to be 2 single beds on a double frame which slid apart a lot. The breakfast was generous, no one stopped you from eating several bowls of cereal and toast with various toppings. Rooms do need waste paper bins though, that was a bit annoying going without one, it was hard to keep tidy.

When we stayed the mens bathroom was getting renovated, this caused the shower area to be very dusty and dirty. The door to our room didn't close correctly so sometimes it would be left open by people. Large lockers were provided in the dorms, and there was a big common room with tables and couches.

Fantastic place! No complaints whatsoever. The showers were hot, perfect pressure. Breakfast was bread, nutella, jam, (toaster available), cereal, tea, hot chocolate, coffee. Perfect to get the day going!

Hostel really nice! Much better than I expected :) The street was not so nice, but it is common for streets in downtown in big cities. Near to metro station, Market La Boqueria and many other services and tourist places... I recomend!
