A fantastic place to stay in the city. The staff were welcoming and friendly, full of great advice and always eager to help. The room was basic but very clean and the air con was a life saver. The location is the thing that really sets the hostel apart - 15 minutes walk from the beach and 10 minutes walk from the city centre, and we felt very safe coming back late at night. On our final day we had a late flight and the hostel were very helpful with allowing us to leave our luggage with them.

Our room was incredibly clean and the breakfast provided in the morning was great! As a place to rest your head in Barcelona you couldn't ask for more from your money. I'd definitely return!

Staying in Be Ramblas was ok for me. I booked a single room for myself, so I had more privacy. But it was hard to get some sleep during the nights, because of the thin walls. Luckily the staff gave me another room with no extra costs. Wifi signal was fine and the location excellent. It's just one street away from the crowded La Rambla. Breakfast is basic, but free. The coffee is pretty good. Housekeeping is friendly and very tidy.

The Hostel was in a great location, I actually came back here to stay for the second time. The only thing which really needs to improve is the breakfast they offer...it's practically nothing and since we pay for it along with the room I at least expect it to be satisflying. They at least ahould have a mini buffet with some croissants, juces, yougurts and coffe. I seen for the second time only corn flakes, milk and some ham, buts too little.

I stayed here in May/June time, its good value for your money. I had a private room with shared bathroom. Room was small but very good for one person. Bathroom was always clean and shower worked fine. Wifi worked very well in my room, staff were helpful and spoke very good english. Breakfast was ok considering that its included in the price. Only downside ans complaiment would be how the noise from the hallway and downstairs lobby kept me awake every single night.

Decent Hostel.

Generally an excellent value-for-money choice. The beds were long enough instead of the standard spanish length where your ankles will not fit. The staff was very helpful and friendly. As a downside, there was a bit of noise coming from the hallway to the room, the wifi had some weird blackout moments and the breakfast was just toast and coffee. I would definitely stay there again.

Small, but clean rooms. Shared bathroom also worked well and was clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was simple, but good for the price. Excellent location.

Didn't like the additional taxes and fees that I was charged. This hasn't happened anywhere.

Great facilities in terms of rooms, though you could hear other people in the bathroom in some! Ideally located near Las Ramblas, really within walking distance of most of the major sights, and really close to the metro too. Breakfast pretty basic.

This hostel is very good in general. The only problem was that from my room I could hear the conversation of people next door. One night it was really annoying since the damn guests didn't go to bed until 4AM. Maybe the Hostel should implement some "silence" guidelines.

Enjoyed our stay. Was aggrieved to find out I had to pay an extra 10% on arrival, which was in the very small print of the email. The price on the website should be the price you pay for the room.

Very good, clean hostel. Needs more bathrooms would be my only grumble. When hostel was full it was sometimes hard to find a time when bathroom was free. Not sure how safe that end of Las Ramblas is. This isn't based on anything that happened but as a lone female I felt a little uncomfortable walking around the area near the hostel, particularly at night. However this could have been just my perception of the area.

This is not a hostel to meet people - the social area was not good and always empty. Clean - never had a problem using the shared shower. Good location between Rambles and El Raval Comfortable. The walls are very thin - but you get what you pay for.
