Very nice place...loved the staff....one thing to improve could be the breakfast...a warm coffee would help to feel better forthe walking tours in the day after parties and drinks.... Tks!
Good hostel. Not close to beach but still easy to get most places from. Reception very helpful with food and transport recommendations. Great free walking tours. Rooms a tad on small side. Would recommend.
The beds use clean bottom sheets and pillowcases but they have these awful orange blankets that they do not wash. I watched a cleaner take a dirty one off the bed change the sheet then put it back on. When confronted she lied and said it was clean. They have sheets for rent but don't tell you that the blanket is used so you don't know to hire them. A heads up would have been nice. The walking tour through hostel was awful, do the sandimans one instead! Staff at desk were really great and helpful

Really helpful, friendly staff, great place to get "alternative tours"
Nice hostel. Good location. Lovely reception staff. Free wifi. Free breakfast. Overall I would recommend.
Rooms fine, not enought bathrooms per person, only one male and one female toilet and shower in the same room with no lock for each floor, breakfast was toast, cereal ad juice, was in a bit of a dodgy area
Well located hostel (5 mins walk from Las Ramblas) with clean rooms and a power socket + light for each bed. Large lockers in rooms and even extra lockers to store luggage after checking out instead of the usual un-safe all access luggage rooms. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. Only down side is the wifi is not very good in the rooms although fine in common room/reception areas. Also only one bathroom on each floor so sometimes a queue to use shower/toilet.

The hostel was good, only had the option of mixed dorms though. The room I had stayed in didn't have air conditioning so had to leave the windows open at night, which was a bit of a bother because of the noise coming from down in the street from people going out at night etc. Location is pretty good, just a few minutes walk from the famous La Rambla street which was handy. The shower was a bit small....I found there wasn't enough space for everyones luggage in the rooms.
One of my favourite hostel stays in Europe so far! The staff went above and beyond to help us. The next time I return to Barcelona, I will stay there without hesitation. The Finnish girl at reception was so incredibly lovely to us, and we were sad to leave. The terrace made it really easy to meet people and make friends. 10 out of 10!
Definitely take the Gaudi walking tour from the hostel. The cooking class on how to make paela, sangria and tapas was a hit, humorous and value for money. Close to the metro. 1 block
6 bed dorm in a space which should occupy 2 beds. Rediculous! Narrow room with bunk beds down one side and we had the end beds. For us to enter, all other occupants must either get on their bed or exit the room for us to pass. Was very cramped and uncomfortable. Other occupants requested to be moved to 8 bed dorm as there was much more space.
Good hostel in a decent location. Staff are very tolerant and helpful. Facilites are good and clean. Unfortunately the airconditioning in the common areas could have been better, it was like a sauna in the basement. Aircon in the rooms was good, making for a nice nights sleep. It was quite loud when people returned early in the mornings though. Overall a good stay.
I had a bad experience here, a gentlemen who didn't seem like a tourist followed me into the hostel as he had a key card to get in. He proceeded to follow me to the second floor, he acted like he had his swipe card out to let himself into his room (the door he was at was the ladies bathroom, not a bedroom)I then got into the elevator, he followed me in, I ran to the top floor terrace & a minute later he walks out, sees the large group of people I was with & left instantly. Hostel is decent thoug
Close to ra lambla, affordable and tidy. Kitchen is small for those who like to cook. wifi is available in rooms and friendly staff.
Was very chilled, kitchen was small and a bit messy as well!!
Very nice staff and good communal area. However showers and great with no locks on doors.
The hostel itself was clean and had good location. Certain staff where not very helpful at all. And the fact that we had 3 over 65 year old sharing our dorm was ridiculous. This hostel should have a age limit as we where restricted from using our room after 7pm every night because they were sleeping. This partially ruined our stay in Barcelona- this added to the atmosphere being not that great as we are 22.
Good hostel with great staff.. Very helpful. Kitchen facilities were good and good communal areas. Only one bathroom on each floor. Wifi didn't always work in the rooms.
staff were helpful, clean room and had cool room top for drinks
