Very expensive for what it is. Beds are comfy. No locks on shower doors

It was great staying in the hostel during the time in Barcelona! Tha staff is so helpful and nice :) Room is very clean and the security is good! Love to come back here :)

great location and staff. the rooms were way to small for six people

The staff was absolutely great - always happy to help.I appreciated the included breakfast but I think it finishes a little too early (until 10AM Sunday morning!).Cheap laundry service and cool rooftop terrace (: And the cool Spy Maps of Barcelona!Sweet!

We were moved to another hostel when we arrived as they were full. We were accommodated in windowless rooms that were dark and smelled like chemicals. It was hard to breathe so we requested a refund for our 2nd night and moved somewhere else.

One of the best hostels i have been to, It was super chill and easy. No problems at all.

I had an overall good experience there. Pros: It had a lot of character, it was nice and secure (free lockers) and clean. I met great people there my age, it wasn't far from anything, breakfast was good, nice rooftop. Cons: The girl at the front didnt know much so wasn't able to help us much for anything as far as getting around and the elevators didn't work half the time (minor stuff). But Don't go on the pub crawl. 15E was a rip off. I went to another hostels for free that was better.

Nice hostel, very clean rooms and bathrooms, location at 5 min walk from Ramblas, we would come back. Roof terrace could use some light and bar.

Location is good if not a bit run down only a a few blocks from metro station and only 5 mins to Las Ramblas. Check in with polite member of staff. Rooms were nice & tidy with free lockers in room which was a plus. Shower/Toilet was very small & always seemed to have smelly wet towels on floor which is not so much the hostels fault but still not very nice. Breakfast good,Unfortunately they're was a pack of 8 or so Dutch teenage lads that were very loud and confrontational during my first night

Great hostel near Las Ramblas! The employees are super chill and funny, but dont expect much from the free breakfast. The rooms are really nice but there are only two showers per floor. The hostel wasn't full when I went, however, so it wasn't a problem for me. I do recommend this place as it is very chill and there is a nice common room to meet and hang out with people.

The hostel was okay. Had great youth atmosphere- pub crawls, etc. Was close to city center, but that isn't necessarily a good thing. La Rambla and the side streets are kind of sketchy the later you stay out. Close to bars and nightlife- but VERY touristy area. It's okay for the money and great if you're a young partier. Wasn't a great place to relax and chill out though and wouldn't recommend it for couples. The least favorite of the hostels I stayed at on my trip. Wasn't super inviting.

I had nice worry-free four days staying at Be Sound hostel. Staff was very helpful and friendly, facilities were up to expectations, room clean and safe, location just perfect ..minutes from the buzz on the city and tube stations.

The common room area was a good place to hang out with friends.

I loved everything about this hostel!! The staff are so friendly too!!

The staff really made this hostel, Faye in particular was extremely helpful and enthusiastic but so were the other staff as well. We didn't have hot water for about 6 hours but the staff did everything they could to get it sorted, which they did so full credit to them.

Lobby was cramped, but fine. Staff is nice and friendly. The second you step into the elevator, however, the entire hostel smells like dirty feet. Including the rooms. Had planned to only stay one night before meeting friends at a different hostel, and was so happy to leave. Did have a good key-card system, however, for getting in the front door, bedrooms, and lockers (which were very spacious). Too far from La Rambla or any tourist site. My first impression of Barcelona was negative.
