The staff were friendly, engaging and helpful in providing advice on getting the most out of BCN. Special mention goes to Elis for exceptional service. As soon as I stepped in the front door, I had a good feeling about the place - and it all started with a friendly smile from behind the front desk. Simple!

The location is great, it's a short walk to las ramblas and the gothic quarter. The facilities were also great and all the rooms had lockers for your stuff. Highly recommend it.

I was really impressed by this hostel, especially by the cleanliness and accessibility. I really liked the security system and always felt secure. The staff were very friendly and even got medicine for me when I wasn't feeling well.

This hostel is my definition of an average hostel these days. It was not the worst place I've stayed, but it is far from the best. It doesn't really offer anything special. It embodies many of the things people hate about hostels - not enough bathrooms, awkward showers that wet the floor and only allow you to wash half of your body at one time, PATHETIC staff, no wifi in the rooms The goods: location (less than 10 min walk to Las Ramblas if that's what you're after), clean, good chill space

Really cool hostel. The showers on the 5th floor weren't the best but the rest of the showers were great.

Pretty great place, the rooftop was pretty nice and all the staff were great. Had a really good time.

I absolutely loved my stay Be Sound Hostel. staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The showers were amazzing!! Extremely clean and tidy. Great hostel, couldnt fault it! It was my first stay in a hostel and i rate it ever so much and will definatley come back very soon! I had a fantastic time and give Be sound Hostel top marks! :-) fab tastic!

This hostel had a really great atmosphere perfect for young people travelling! There were free walking tours and a pub crawl all leaving from the hostel, which made getting to know the city very easy! No wifi in the rooms, unfortunately; there are two computers in the main lobby area. The rooms are small but get the job done. One of my favourite hostels!

You should find a way to lock the bathroom when sby is having a shower!

This is actually my second stay at this hostel. I loved the location, price and free breakfast. One thing I would say is if the staff could be more knowledgeable about where to eat that's not La Rambla. We asked the receptionist and he didn't have any idea. My only complaint. Great value for the money. Would definitely recommend.

I had an amazing stay at be sound hostel! The staff was very helpful with all the questions we had and knew the city/hot spots very well. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone staying in Barcelona!

Good hostel.

I had a good time at Be Sound hostel! It was really central, had tours and bar crawls and things to do. We were impressed by the 'chill out area', terrace and kitchen, all which were clean and well looked after. The staff were also very cheery. Only slight negative comment was that the street had a few dodgy guys but as we were travelling in a group we wern't really bothered by it. They also have a free breakfast (we didn't wake up in time but mega bonus)!

Great showers. Very helpful staff. Awesome location. Large, key-carded storage lockers. My only complaint is that the kitchen was teeny-tiny. You can get a cafe con leche at any hour for 1 euro from the lounge machine though.

Very good hostel, lockers used during your stay are magnetic opened with your room key, really cool. I had a great experience at the hostel, with very helpful staff.

Bad localization, only prostitution around.
