We'd booked a room for two people. The beds are not real beds, just a stack of mattresses. The bedroom doesn't have table neither racks.

I loved this hostel! Everyone was lovely, the staff were really friendly and helpful, there is loads of information on what can be done around the city. They give u clean sheets and a towel and there is plenty of room so sit and chat with others!

The only thing I did not like was that the air conditioner was ON only from 10pm to 10am. Everything else is excellent for the money paid.

A bit to hot to sleep in the upper beds. Could have been better working AC

We had a room in the backyard without window. The room was so small, we couldn't even open the door properly and the bed linen was dirty, too. Moreover there is only one shower and two toilet for all the guests. However, the location was good and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Great hostel, excellent helpful staff, free wifi, kitchen access, outdoor seating area with music, plenty of bathrooms with doors that actually lock behind you which most hostels dont seem to offer for some reason. Great to meet other people, very social place. Only downside were the bed bugs! they were dealing with this at the time but for some people it was a real issue. If they sorted this i would def go back. Other than this its probably the best hostel ive stayed in.

Friendly helpfull staff, good food, and close to the metro. Kinda sucked having to take the metro or bus to get to any good beach . They had issue with bed bugs.. The staff were cleaning out rooms every day trying to fumigate the mattresses but not sure if it was helping.. all in all it was a good place.. People had to check out because of availability yet they would still come back at night to hang out so that says something. I'd stay again of they would fix the bug problem.

I booked a private room and was given a filthy-dirty, musty space in the back yard. I realise that it's high-season, but there should be some control over the owners not to make such appalling spaces available for hire. I have a very high tolerance level and accept that no hostel can be perfect. But this was by far the worst hostel I stayed in during my five weeks in South America. On the up-side, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very spacious and clean rooms, nice outdoor area with amazing bbq night and tasty caipirinha. The breakfast was really good and free internet was a good thing. I had a really good time and definitely would recommend this place

worst place ive stayed at in S.A. stayed one night and left! arrived at 7:45 am, waited over half an hr for someone to wake up and let me in. staff was sleeping, guy who worked here was rude, he did not appoligise. he over charged me and was an idiot that told me to take it up with manager. the place was INFESTED with bedbugs! they lie about facilities, no skype, no dvd selection, no books to exchange, rooms and common areas were NOT spacious at all. luggage left in the hall. bad atmosphere!

the only problem is that the people make a lot of noise in the kitchen in the morning, so my room was very close to it and I heard of everything and couldn´t sleep so good.
