Of course. U$5 dollars will not give you a Hotel room. Book a hotel by the beach next time! Regards

Great hostel close to most tourist attractions! Great staff and rooms! Cleaned everyday will defos be goin back when I return to rio!! Happy hour Caprinihas are so good! Great way to meet all the other guests!

Good hostel that could be improved easily. There are too many Brazilian long termers here with frankly quite poor hygiene and thinking they own the hostel, stays should be limited for non travelers. Cleaners should ensure all guests are using sheets on the beds, some guests were not. Location is good, near Botofogo metro. Unfortunately a macbook was stolen from one of the rooms, no locks on dorm doors. Wifi is good. The staff were friendly especially the main man on during the day. But its cheap!

Our rooms are all renovated, painted, clean and spacious. Our beds were fixed and they are brand new. Regards, Olivia

The staff is friendly and explain everything we ask, the location couldn't be better. If you like parties at night, you are in the right place and if you just want to sleep at night... it's cool too.

Staff (especially Juan) were very helpful. Good chilled out hostel during the week. Friday/Saturdays were more of a party atmosphere. Location good, 2 min walk to Botafogo metro. Lots of restaurants close by. Breakfast was under par but apart from that still great value for money.

Really nice hostel, good vibe, and staff is really helpfull. Relaxing place to stay. To visit Rio this is a really good hostel!

Positives: - Super Cheap Hostel for Rio and an excellent location. - Reception staff are multi-lingual, helpful and really nice. Negatives: - Breakfast... Just bring your own and take the free coffee. Nobody bothered to wake up for it. - Tour Costs. Prices are over inflated and you can do all the tours by yourself or with a group for cheaper. Eg. Football tix were 140r with private trans through hostel but you could get metro for 7.50r return and football tix for 60r and is completely safe!

This is one of the cheapest hostels in Rio... However it was very dirty and I felt like the bunk beds were going to break at any moment.

Very misleading review. Our cleaners are always keeping the hostel very organized and clean. Our bunkbeds are brand new and very secure. This type of review upsets us a lot since we are compromised to offer always an excellent service.
