The lady who works here is so nice and so willing to help you with anything you need. Less than 1 minute walk to the beach. Beer shop on the first floor of the building with great prices. Room was extremely hot at night and mosquitos were quite bad but that's Sri Lanka. The price is pretty cheap though. Was fully booked both days I was here. Great spot to stay if you're going to airport the next day.

Laths is super kind and goes out of her way to help everyone out. The hostel is clean and sufficient with the facilities mentioned in the description. You're sure to meet interesting travellers either entering or leaving Sri Lanka since it's very close to the airport. Would definitely recommend Thanks again Latha

The hostel staff were very friendly, welcoming and actually really care about the people staying there! There were mosquito nets, although it's probably better to make sure your bunk buddy knows about their use before you go to sleep... Washroom/WC areas were clean. The breakfast was good, nice place to meet people. One caution: Sri Lankan style booking means your bed might be different when you arrive to the one you booked (booked 3F dorm, got 2F, 1 in mixed) price was the same though.

Great value for money and really handy for the airport. Nice that breakfast was included and the staff were really helpful (thanks Rani :-)) It was also great to have the beach so close.

Increased price by 60% without informing my fellow traveller who paid, no justification for the increase, and subsequently made the room well overpriced. The bad response from manager was little appreciated

Stayed just the one night before flight out of Sri Lanka. Very ideal for starting or ending your trip in Sri Lanka, as it's close to the airport, so very cheap and stress free to get to, rather than staying in Colombo or Mt Lavina (Like I did when I arrived). Tuk Tuk to the airport for 700 rupees and took 20 minutes. The hostel itself is basic but perfectly ok for purpose, free breakfast hit the spot. The hostel is well looked after by the very helpful and sweet Latha. Great location too.

We arranged airport pick up but no one came to meet us. We also booked 2 beds in a 4 bed female dorm but were put in a 5 bed mixed dorm and told to sleep in a "double" bed (we ended up sleeping in 2 single beds after asking, as the double was more like a queen size). The lady who works there is really lovely and very obliging.

The woman that runs the hostel is such a sweetheart. Very helpful, she booked us our tuk tuk and got up with us at 4am to get us to the airport on time. The hostel is a little hard to find but it was a great stay. Would definitely recommend it.

It's cheap and close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The breakfast in the morning and coffee/tea was a good start to the day. It's a very quiet stay. Good value if you only need to spend a night or two getting from or going to the airport.

A nice introduction to sri lanka. The manager (latha?) was super friendly. Just be careful, they close the beer shop below at 9pm. Time just passes at the terrace.

I've spent just one night but i'll come back for sure. I found the place very clean, good location and helpful staff. I must mention Latha, the lovely lady who takes care of everything, was very nice to meet her.

A bigger storage locker for larger backpacks (like under the bed would be nice). Also lockable storage for every room would be preferred. The staff was really helpful and nice.
