Staff was very friendly and the facilities were impeccable. Had a lot of trouble locating it though and was not close at all to the city of Wexford that the website indicated it was.
Really nice place!! Staff are super friendly and helpful. Nice and clean with good kitchen and nice room to chill out in. Short walk to the beach and to a grocery store! Not near to a whole lot else though. But overall great place, would definitely recommend.
STAY HERE! A real Irish beach town, it's a few minutes from gorey and a taxi was 10€- there's a private beach a minute away, sandy and serene. Marie is so helpful, even gave us a ride to the train station the next day! We had a (free!) pizza in the freezer, personable housemates, cozy tv room, spacious clean bedding and bathrooms, and only a few minutes walk to the village of riverchapel where the grocery store and pub are. Beaches ended up being a sort of quiet holiday from our holiday, lovely.
A family-owned hostel which is only a short walk to the beach. The owners are really nice and helpful - they make you feel very welcomed and give you tips too. There is not much around so I would use this place as a short reprieve between busy cities. It does have a calming and relaxing air to it. FYI, you can only get WiFi on a laptop, not your phone.
I can't say enough great things about Beaches Hostel, this was my favorite hostel to date! The hostel is privately owned and feels like what it is, a home. The accommodations are clean and of excellent quality. It's off the beaten path as well, which is wonderful in the midst of visiting big cities with heaps of tourists. Our stay at Beaches Hostel was the perfect seaside rest that we needed after a long and strenuous bike ride.
To me the hostel felt like a B&B. It has an excellent kitchen and the beds are great too. I stayed with my boyfriend and we had nothing bad to say about the place. We had a room to ourselves which was lovely. It seems to be run by a couple who potter around the property, doing the bits and bobs. Gives it a relaxed, chill feel. The fact there was parking for our car was an added bonus. Overall, a clean, chill place. Really good.

A good, clean and homey hostel in such a secluded area. A good place to just come and rest and chill a bit. I felt the kitchen was a bit under stocked with essentials such as sugar, oil and salt. Wifi reception is not good anywhere in the house. Owner doesn't live on site, but gets back to you quickly via text or email.
Very nice staff. A great place to relax. Great beach.
Owner very nice, and the environment in the hostel is good
Really good place, not far from the sea. As we were lost, the own came to us.
Fantastic location with a deserted beech a wee walk away, wonderful hospitality from the owner a real dream of a hostel i will be back.
The location was a bit tricky to find but not impossible. The owners are so friendly and helpful! The best part? There is a beach just up the alley way- it's gorgeous! WIFI is pretty hit and miss but the Homie feel of the place makes up for it. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a quiet get away/break from the city.
