The hostel in one stop away on the train from perth and then a 20-25 min walk from leederville station. The security is good but padlock wouldn't fit on my locker so didn't feel safe leaving valuables in the room. No atmosphere whatsoever do not go here if your looking to meet people, most are over 40. Wifi is shocking and you have to pay 10 dollars for 5 hours. Staff were awful apart from one man who refunded me my money because of idiots in my room. Never slept because of traffic all night

The room was spacious and clean. Bathrooms and toilets were small and and they weren't cleaned everyday. By check-in the staff didn't inform us, that they give something like lunchbox with the disches for you - if you don't get, you won't have any plates, forks, cups etc. to use.

Staff not friendly at all.... a lot of old perverts living there...

We had a double bed room, which was really big. That was good. The showers are quite small, it's hard to dress up before leaving the shower. The washbasin was clogged in the men's toilet on the ground floor. The fridges in the kitchen were all fully packed, it didn't seem that they throw unlabeled food out. There are too less (working!) cooking plates! Good thing was, that they organized the uncooled food storage in a different way. On our first stay it was also fully packed.

I have done a fair bit of backpacking and this hostel is one of my favourites. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the hostel manages to be both tidy and cozy at the same time.

Private double was stuffy and felt a bit like a prison cell. Bathroom and kitchen facilities were fine but could get messy during the night. Overall didn't feel very safe or comfortable, as lots of odd people were hanging around outside at all hours of the night. Had a very weird vibe.

First night kitchen was disgusting. Dirty dishes left soaking in a layer of grime in the sinks. No clean dish towels, even when we asked the front desk for new ones. Kitchens were cleaned by the morning and they were okay, definitely needed a mid day cleaning. Other facilities were good, nice gym and pool, cold water at the front was awesome. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Atmosphere was a bit boring, but we had good roommates so that made it better. A little far. Overall, decent experience.
