For a Parisian hostel, this ones actually alright. It's clean and reasonably priced for Paris. Only downside is the lack of atmosphere and its location but other than that, I was happy with my stay.
Long walk from the Metro line, and uphill, so if you have heavy luggage, good luck. Lots of Asian hookers on your way to/from the Metro. Closest Metro station (Belleville) only has a couple lines, so you'll almost certainly have to do a transfer. Plus, if you need to go to Gare du Nord, it is a pain. Bed was VERY uncomfortable, especially if you're taller than 5'7". Wi-fi was the worst I've ever had in a place I have stayed. Very few restaurant choices close-by.

Beautiful hostel with very nice rooms and bathrooms! We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and nice our rooms were. The rooms have lockers in them as well which was very useful. The only downside is that it's not closer to central Paris but there is a Metro station (Belleville) so close that it didn't really matter! The area the hostel is in is kind of a Chinatown and not the nicest part of town but the price and how nice this hostel was more than made up for it!
Kitchen only has a microwave. Hostel claims to have air conditioning, but doesn't. Nice big park and several supermarkets nearby.
It needs a fan. Not for people who stay out late and can't afford taxis (really scary area). Otherwise, clean and quiet
The hostel is very nice and basically you have everything you need. Rooms are very clean, the breakfast is decent and typically french, metro station is near by and there are a lot of shops around where you can buy groceries. There are lockers in the room but you need to buy padlock at the reception desk for 5EUR, so if you have one at home bring it with you and spend those 5EUR in a bar :)

The location is not far from the subway station Belleville. It's where lots of Chinese residents are, so you'll easily find Asian restaurants and stores nearby and it's often very crowded. The staff was super friendly and helpful, it's a shame that I didn't get her name to recommend. The bathroom was very clean and spacious, almost the best I've seen from a hostel so far, but you'll have to get up early to take a shower because six people have to share one. In general, it was quite a nice stay.
The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Rooms were nice and clean. Just a bit of a hike to get to the attractions is probably the only downfall.
Please make connection to wi-fi simple: without the need to open the authorization web page before I can use it.
It is pretty close to a train station, although the train station is far from other site seeing places, so you have to take a train to go outside, and the transportation cost is not cheap. Some of the stuff there did not speak fluent English, you may just can barely communicate with some of them. But the stuff there were pretty nice. Breakfast was included, it included croissant, bread, milk, tea and orange juice. I guess they just clear the room once for two days.
Good quality hostel but alittle high price really good breakfast
Nice, clean hostel a little but far from the centre of Paris but very close to a metro stop. There is no bar unfortunately, so far you are wanting a lively atmosphere to meet people, this is not for you. It is perfect to recharge your batteries though. I booked the wrong date while booking and they told me via email it was all sorted, but then when I arrived, they told me they couldn't do anything about it. I wasn't happy.
