I really thought I would like this hostel more than I did based on the ratings and reviews. I did not find the staff very friendly, especially the man who got snappy when I asked a simple question. The most that this hostel has going for it is that it is very clean and new-looking and breakfast is included. If that is all you're looking for, then this hostel is for you, otherwise you should look somewhere else. Also, it's far from any major tourist attraction.

Excellent new hostel, lovely part of Paris. I love Belleville, a local slice of life away from the hordes of tourists. Great local bars, restaurants etc. friendly part of town. Good access with 2 metro lines a 2 minute walk away and still only around 20 minute walk to Bastille area etc. will definitely be back next time in Paris! Thanks Sylvie and co!

Thank you for the kindness and amazing service!

The hostel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and it is easy to get to from Belleville metro. But don't bother paying more for the single room in the hopes of a quieter room. The single room on the ground floor opens right into the reception with the window next to an alley and very little soundproofing, even with earplugs. Of course if you are out all night, this doesn't matter so much...

Only one thing was missing : cooktops in the kitchen.

It's a very nice Hostel, it's new so clean, the staff is great.
