Went to a Veterinary Medical conference in the City of Fiorenze with my boyfriend traveling from Utah. It was a 35 minute ride on the bus from the B & B to one of the main squares San Marco, 2 blocks away from our conference center in town .. The location is spectacular, service made you feel right at home. Accommodations were updated, clean. modern and comfortable. Claudio, our host was inspiring, knowledgeable and a great cook himself. Highly recommend this lovely B & B in Tuscany

It was very clean and nice atmosphere. You do have to walk 5 floors up and are in the rafters. You do get a fan and big window to open. There is communal bathroom, fridge, and kettle etc. interest you have to pay extra and only get a small amount ( only allowed two Internet passes). We had a drunk guy (a fellow guest in another room) the second night which was banging and screaming and was annoying. The owner was very professional and kicked them out the next day. You need take transit to cites.
My 18yr. old son and I LOVED our stay at La Martellina! The rooms were big, clean, comfortable, and had the most amazing and relaxing views. The building had a lot of character and charm. Even though it was about 6 miles from the City Center of Florence, the owner provided us with bikes and we had a GREAT ride along the river to the city. It was easy, fun, and very safe!! Finally, the breakfast was the most amazing we had in Florence!!!! I would stay there again!!
