Value for money hostel in good/secure location of Mexico D.F. Girls in the kitchen were really nice, regarding the staff at reception: had the impression they answered our questions just because they could hardly just ignore us. But otherwise, ok choice for Mexico D.F.

The staff were very helpful when we had questions about different parts of the city, the hostel was very quiet at night and situated in a nice part of the city, and the free breakfast really helped save money/time! Thanks to Angel and his staff for a great week in mexico city!

Very nice and helpful guys, they pick you up from the airport when you arrive, which is really great and can arrange a safe taxi ride to the airport when you leave. Very well located.

You get what you pay for... This place is cheap and nothing special, but fine. Location is excellent. If you stay in a dorm, definitely worth the extra money for the slightly more expensive one. You're in a light, reasonably spacious room as compared to a windowless one.

Strange atmosphere, no friendly common spaces. Definitely not a very nice hostel compared to other I've stayed in. Pretty run-down and no drinks were allowed inside.

Good thing from small hostals it's that there is more contact with other guest. But sometimes there are to many rules and presion I loved the breakfast!

It is always a pleaure to stay at the hostal on Durango. Angel and staff are always very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for landing in Mex DF-just a hop on the Metro and disembard at Insugentes and in a few minutes you are there amongst many great restaurants, parks, Reforma as well as Zona Rosa and Condesa. Greart roof top for morning breakfast.

We got a free pickup from the airport - excellent for the first timers in Mexico City. Picking us was quite easy and really helpful, especially when arriving late in the evening. Apart from this the best what this hostel is to offer is a really great location, close to metro leading you everywhere you want to go to- and there are lots of places nearby to go for..eat..atm..etc. Besides it felt really safe staying there. Cheers! Thumbs up!

The breakfast prepared by mrs Lina 'awesome' the front desk guy Justin is super kind and funny; the best place to stay near the zona rosa (the gay area in the city) and very close to 'la condesa' restaurant and bars the area is very walkable however the subway and the metro is very close from here; is pretty nice place to meet other guys and plan the next journey into Mexico and plan the night bar schedule

Located in a safe area, 5 min walk from the Insurgentes metro station. Staff is cooperative, helpful, and they speak English. Rooms are small but cozy. The only problem was their absolutely crazy shower that switches between freezing and boiling and I could never regulate properly between these two extremities. You have up to 30 sec. before you have to jump off and wait again until water temperature becomes normal.

My 1st hostel experience in Mexico so don't have anything to compare. Basic enough hostel but would happily stay again. Very clean. Helpful staff. Safe neighbourhood although not as nice as condessa. Breakfast of eggs, bread & coffee was good but maybe the owner could add some fruit juice & fruit ?

You should put mirrors in the rooms! Would slow bathroom traffic...
