The Gracia site is being renovated, so we learned (after booking) that we were being moved to Barceloneta. The proximity to the beach is great, but the hostel itself has many irritating faults: wet/sticky bathroom floors with temperamental hot water; cramped kitchen with broken oven and no drying rack; and only three chairs for a floor that houses 16 people (bunk-beds are stacked too closely for one to be able to sit comfortably on them); to name a few. Not terrible, but not a first choice.
