This was my third stay at the Bedouin over the past four years. The staff was attentive to my needs, especially Ibraham and Hamid, who included me in a variety of activities. The hostel has character and provides an experience for the guest.

the staffs are kind. I ordered dorm but they let me stay in twin room. But the room was a little bit dark so it was difficult to read books in the room and they were reluctant to change the light bulbs saying : we let you stay in twin room so put up with it. Even with that, I enjoyed the stay there. So if you don't have any other good option, you can choose this hostel and this hostel is comfortable enough as a inexpensive hostel.

The people that run this hostel are brilliant! We booked a bunch of tours with them and were impressed at every stage. Ibrahim even escorted us in our taxi's to the bus station and train station for our further travel just to make sure we were OK. Young Khaled and Ahmed were super nice and nothing was ever too much trouble! Hostel is located close to all main attractions and the guys will even order in food for you after a long overnight train! We love these guys and will definitely be back! :-D

Friendly and helpful staff, although when I first arrived they did push a little bit too hard to sell tours for my taste, but that may be just me. If you're into tours you may like this. Clean, nothing fancy but perfectly adequate. Internet always worked in my room, which is not always the case in other similar hostels I've stayed at. Excellent location with shops and restaurants right out the door. For budget-minded people, this hostel can definitely be recommended.

I turned up in Cairo with no real plans and the guys at this hostel helped me plan out my days to get the most out of my stay, including an overnight stay in the desert ( highlight of my trip ). They were really helpful and friendly all round and have the local connections and knowledge to get the best experiences and value for money. I wish I had time to stay longer and take advantage of their connections in other parts of Egypt. Thanks a lot Bedouin Hostel, I will be back.

Amazing hostel and great staff. We are usually 'do-it-yourself' travellers', however we decided to book a few trips with these guys and have no regrets! Our guide Toriq and driver Saeed for the Pyramids, and Citadel tours were amazing and invaluable. We also booked a tour to the White Desert and had an incredible time. Ibrahim and Seymour are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended hostel and will definitely stay here again. There tours are great and very affordable!

The staff was very friendly helpful and competent. We booked the rest of our trip with them and though we were left a bit in the dark about what we were getting the tours and accomodation were an excellent value. A demonstration blocking the railroad line from Cairo to Luxor required major modifications to our trip but they handled the changes and had us met at each destination. The major problem with the facility was mosquitos in large numbers in our room and the dirtiness of Cairo downtown.

Bedouin hostel is all right. Location is excellent . Staff very helpful. They wanted us to book with them all tours in Egypt but when we said we preferred not to do so, they were as polite as ever. I would come back to Bedouin. Only one computer but in Egypt is as much as you can expect.

One of the best places we have ever stayed in! Right in down town with walking distance to a lot of the things to see makes it a great location. The staff is wonderful, they helped me with everything we needed, from arrange great trips to helping with orientation in the city They made us feel very safe witch is good since we have visited cairo during the protests. P.S Cairo is really safe place to go and bedouin hostel is a good option to start with. I suggest to offer pick-up from air to host
