The main things that I was displeased with was the cleanliness. That contributed to everything else for me. The kitchen and bathrooms were both a mess. There were unwashed dishes and food left everywhere and a lot of sand in the bathroom. This brought down the atmosphere of the place, the quality of the facilities, and my view of the staff. It was very secure and I felt safe, which I definitely appreciated.

We booked his hostel from a recommendation. Jaco was the 2nd last stop on our tour and we had stayed at some great places for good value but Jaco really didn't measure up to the impression we thought it would given the recommendation. Our 4 person dorm was very small with two bunks, with barely any walking or storage room. The washroom did not look cleaned (garbage was overflowing). We're sure the hostel was liveable to some, but as two 25 y/o females it just wasnt for us. A definite pass.

Beds on Bohio is a great value. It's a great place to stay, walking distance from the beach. The staff, especially Chris (owner/manager) is extremely helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend staying here.

i have been to places all around the world nice hotels people\'s condo\'s ect. this place was by far one of the funnest places i have been. met so many awesome people, close to the beach so great for surfing, it would be a mistake to travel to jaco and not stay at beds on bohio. they have great food and the staff have all the hook ups on fun things to do around town. may not be the cleanest place but why are you travling if your not looking for somthing out of the norm somthing new... Do It...

Nice hostel complete with AC, great food, super friendly staff, and just steps away from the beach bars. Go and enjoy!
