Begovic Boarding House Reviews

We had a wonderful stay at Begovic Boarding House. We loved the terrace overlooking the beach; it was a great common area. We arrived early in the morning but the owners let us leave our bags and freshen up after our overnight ferry. The walk from the port isn't too far but the owners will pick you up if you request it ahead of time. Shops and bars are only a 5 minute walk away and their is a direct bus to the Old Town.

Lovely pace run by a wonderful older couple, they are extremely warm and welcoming and are all to eager to assist you in whatever way they can. Highly recommended.

Lovely friendly family owners and goes out of their way to help

The hosts were super helpful and friendly, and the garden was lovely and added to the relaxed and enjoyable vibe of the place.

Hard to judge as it was not a hostel as much as private boarding dorm. So it had bathroom and kitchen but not a lot of atmoshere, no fun really. It was quite difficult to find, directions from site not very clear and the location in general is quite far from the historical city of Dubrovnik and the bus station. Stated WIFI available, however was down the entire time and the one PC was also not working properly. All in all, was not that impressed. However the elderly couple were welcoming

Very friendly and helpful providing transport both ways to bus station (there is no train station) Excellent room with terrace surrounded by kiwi, orange and grapevine, overlooking Lapad Bay Facilities include free Internet and kitchen area. Close to restaurants and good walks. We walked back from Old Town, but regular bus service
