We loved this Hostel! The location within the Hutongs is just amazing. The staff was very helpful and the room really nice, even though it had no window. It was a very pleasant stay :)
Very good choice in Beijing! It's very well located, they have useful staff and they do have a kitchen and breakfast included, which is something I've been missing for a while in Asia. Wifi is quite good. Cozy room downstairs to chill and watch TV. Thumbs up for this place!
I got a clean private room with attached bathroom, which sort of exceeded my expectations even without a window. Shower (warm water), air con was working fine. Except that the aircon made a constant ticking sound that disturbed my sleep throughout. Otherwise, it is in a central location in Nanluoguxiang, fantastic facilities (free locker for 72 hrs!), great tour to Mutianyu and 20% off @ the cafe next door which was a very cozy place. Great experience :)
not bad for China it is clean and in a good location. staff helpful enough. shower and toilet should be separated otherwise worth the money.
Very helpful staff with good English skills. Relatively clean (depends on your roommates). Great location and close to the subway.
I had a great experience at the hostel, the staff were very knowledgeable about the do's and don't's of Beijing. I highly recommend the 6KM Great Wall hike provided by the hostel. The hostel is also situated on of the most famous hutongs in Beijing which makes for good shopping, tasty food and a strong atmosphere.

This was my second trip to Beijing so starting to know the city pretty well. Hostel is in an amazing location. Inside ring one and in walking distance to everything in the city that is a must see. There were 3 of us and we took a 3 person room. It was clean for china hostels. The shower had decent water pressure and was hot. Toilet wasn't flushing properly but they fixed it. Draw back is that there isn't a big common area inside. It rained the whole time we were here so couldn't use the roof.
hostel easy to find from Beijing airport by public transport (caught airport express and bus) well located on busy street with subway station to get anywhere in Beijing. hostel was cleaned every day and staff were helpful. they sell cheap water/snacks/beer and roof terrace is cool. good price for beijing but slightly more than SE asia prices. would definitely stay again
had a great time, all staff are really nice, rooms are big and clean, breakfast is amazing just a bit too slow to get it served
The organized tours were very expensive, it was even cheaper for us to go with a private taxi to Jiankou great wall than to go with a group tour of the hostel. That's too bad! The room was good and clean but it lacks a bit of decoration to make it a bit more cosy. The dorm room doesn't lock and we didn't like that. The terras was nice to sit, breakfast was very slow and the staff of the hostel was not always friendly and willing to help.
Very friendly place to stay with nice staff and very good facilities.

Can I just say I adored this hostel? It was cozy, clean, friendly staff, right near a metro, and not filled with wild party animals. It was peaceful during the day if I needed a rest and peaceful at night as well. The bunks had curtains for extra privacy, something I think more hostels need to adopt. So I didn't feel like I was in a giant bunk room as much.
I did not spend much time in the hostel but the room was what I needed, good value for beijing, central location, good facilities and breakfast included. THank you.
Nice hostel! Very good located, and the bed was very comfortable! The Great Wall tour to Simatai was fantastic!
Great hostel to stay at. I recommend the hostel highly!
I stayed in the room outside the back and had no internet access. I also found most (not all) the staff to be unhelpful. They would answer my questions as if I were a bother to them for asking and they just wished I would leave them alone. In particular, Ruby (I believe was her name).
In a nice location on one of the most popular wandering streets in Beijing, but not that close to the subway- so you had little choice but to 'wander' for quite a while before you could leave or arrive. Wasn't at all noisy which I was happily surprised at. Room clean.
Our room did not have a locker, but there were some in the basement. Not too happy about security, rooms could have keys. Free breakfast was nice and the location was great. The hutong area where the hostel was located was very lively and I could have spent a week exploring the shops. Rooms were clean, but I received a ripped bed sheet. Good thing i'm short.
Only thing that bothered me was exactly the same breakfast every day. We stayed in hostel for 4 days and we were happy for having a breakfast. But I got bored of having same food every day.
