We booked a room through hostelworld, however when we got to the hostel they told us no beds anymore. They tried to put us in a room for 3 people, there were already 2 girls in it and we were with 3 girls. Two of us would have to share a single bed and one of us would have to sleep on the floor, and they would charge us the same. After discussing for 30 minutes, they gave us a room for 3 people, so apparently there were beds available.

This hostel has less of an international feel to it than other hostels I've stayed at; we only saw one non-Chinese person at the hostel during the 9 days we stayed there, but this is not a bad thing, just different! :) The staff are very helpful and patient but do not speak much English, so non-Chinese visitors will want to brush up on their Chinese if they're going to stay there. The location is pretty good, it's close to the Olympic Park & Bird's Nest, there's a subway station close by.
