Got here really late and they had already prepared a buffet dinner for us all which was stunning. Rooms were no different to a really fancy hotel. Chris couldn't do enough for u and obviously very important to him that he made ur stay as best as possible. The location may not be great but as we were just breaking up a long drive it was perfect for us. Don't think I've met such a genuine guy. Great place to chill. Price was a bargin. Def would stay here again if in the area.

More of a home stay! We stayed one night to break up the Transfagarasan drive from the last drive back to Bucharest. So lovely and homely and the people were so cute and incredibly welcoming to us. Very generous people and they made us a delicious breakfast. The house is beautiful, such a treat for our last night in Transylvania. Thank you!!
Belegania Villa is a wonderfully cozy place--friendly atmosphere, clean rooms, and lovely hosts. Cristian was absolutely incredible--he went out of his way to show us his Romania. Not only did he drive us to the castle we wanted to see, but he hiked up to it with us, and then drove us far into the mountains to see some of its exotic beauty. He's an excellent tour guide, and his eagerness to talk about Romania, both the good and the bad, opened our eyes to this marvelous country. Highly recommend

Cristian and Erma were great hosts for us, a mixed group of 5 looking to drive the Transfagarasan. We had a full homestyle delicious cooked dinner (3 courses) for 25 lei each and sampled some homemade wine and Romanian spirits. It was great to see some Romanian village life and we experienced some real hospitality. Cristian offered to pick us up from Pitesti as the village was about 15 kms from the main city. It was very pleasant to have a night in the Romanian countryside. Cheers to our hosts!!
