John was very helpful and a great guy to get tips and advice from, never too busy to chat, he even found us a deal on our train tickets after we told him we were planning on booking a train for later on in our trip. Hostel is located about a 20 min walk from the more popular tourist pubs, however there are a few good ones close by. The hostel is also on a quiet street as opposed to the other popular hostels on main roads, so minimal disrupting street noise when sleeping with the windows open.
