John was fantastic-- a very nice guy who was always available to help/for any questions you might have. I would stay there again if I go to Belfast again, no doubt about it. Breakfast was simple but nice. Huge flat screen TV available with a wide assortment of videos. Overall-- one of my favorite hostels, mainly because of the staff!!

Finally! A decent hostel in Belfast. With a van for work I have been limited in where I can stay due to parking. But after an incident finally made me give up on my previous hostel I went looking further a field. Lagans's was dodgy, this place was great. New, clean and obviously designed by a real backpacker. A little out of town is the only drawback, but hell I prefer that as there IS parking and it is quieter. Great kitchen, wheelchair friendly and a playstation. Top Stuff ;)

It was a nice hostel, clean, safe and friendly but it didn't have much else to it. I would have no problem recommending it to others.

The hostel catered to my needs very well. Was especially happy with how clean the place was, and with the manager, John. He was kind and helpful, obviously kept a close eye on the comings and goings of people at night (stopped us when we brought friends in late to pick something up, but wasn't unpleasant about it!). Booked us a room in a B'n'B because his hostel was too busy, paid the difference, and even gave us a lift there. How nice is that?! Much much appreciated.

Enjoyed our stay in the double bed room - has own clean bathroom and sofa. Bed is up a ladder but no problem for us. Kitchen was great and a Tesco nearby. Good wifi and very helpful staff. Bit of a walk from town - approx 20 minutes, but there are buses too. Cheap taxi to airport and close to tour pick up areas. Would stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The owner was fantastic, so friendly, capable and easy going. The rooms were lovely and clean and the beds extremely comfortable. Incredibly cheap, including a basic breakfast of cereal, bread and hot drinks. Would recommend to young people and would definitely stay here again!

I was really impressed with this hostel. We arrived much earlier than the check-in time, but they still took us to our rooms and showed us around the hostel. The guy working was extremely friendly and helpful. My main complaint is that the showers in our 10 bed dorm were not very private. just 2 clear glass showers in one small washroom. Nevertheless, would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend this hostel!

It´s a great hostel, I could actually say that one of the best ones I´ve ever stayed in. Clean, tidy, very comfortable and located in the heart of the students ´quarter in Belfast. John, the guy in charge, is a very friendly fellow, always willing to help and make you feel home. Highly recommended!!

Don't advertise as wheelchair accessible if the staff are sleeping in the wheelchair accessible room. I went there in my wheelchair and was told the wheelchair room was not available, but was then put in a room on the THIRD FLOOR which required me to climb a ladder to the bed and due to the presence of the ladder, my wheelchair had to be lifted into the room, while I had to crawl into the room. This was extremely embarrassing and uncomfortable for both me and my partner. No shower access

I've done loads of travelling and this hostel is definitely the best I've stayed in. It's close to Queens if you need to use their facilities (10 min walk) and it's only a 10-15min bus ride away from town. The staff are excellent, the place itself has just been newly refurbished, suffice to say it's great. I can't rave about this place enough!
