Wifi dropped out a bit, parking ok in street, reasonably close to city. Breakfast toast and cereal- good, movies and play station games bonus
The security arrangements were new to me, with no key for the dorm door. Instead there is a reliance on presence of CCTV. The plus side is you can't lock yourself out of your dorm in the middle of the night ! Lockers are under-the-bed cage type. The top bunk did not provide anywhere to put your glasses (or a torch or a book), but that can be said about most hostels. Inclusive breakfast is a plus - cereal/milk, coffee/tea, toast/jam and even eggs. Plenty of shops, eateries nearby.
I loved the place: nice staff, comfortable beds (lots of room under bunkbed), good and clean kitchen. The only problem I saw is that it is a bit far from the city centre (at least under the rain, it must be better with nice weather).
This was the newest and nicest hostel I have stayed in. We had a double room, which was well set out, clean and comfortable. The shared facilities were great, and felt just like home with a good kitchen and dining room and a great lounge area with big leather couches and a television. The staff were really nice. The location is about a 20 minute walk from the city centre, but in the same location as most of the other hostels etc. I would definitely stay again.
Absolutely cracking place. The manager is a great lad
A little bit from the centrum, and not that easy to find, this was one of the best hostels on my trip. Great facilities, friendly and helpful staff and the feeling that you're almost at home. My only critiscim is that they should put out bigger sign, so that it's easier to find.
The owner was absolutely lovely! Had a great chat with him and he didn't even mind that we were late down in the morning! The rooms are very small, but for the price it's not a big deal at all. The place is spotless and the staff were so so helpful. I'll definitely be heading back again!
I had such a lovely time here. The staff were so nice and the bathrooms and kitchen were great. The rooms were quite squishy and it is a little out of town but you can still walk in to the city. Loved the cereal range at breakfast too! My one suggestion would be to get a different sign as the one on the window looks a little dodgy as it is!
My best stay in three months of backpacking. The staff care about their clientele and will lead you to the good Irish craic! It is so clean it's close to godliness, wonderful kitchen, comfy bed, great selection of DVDs, everything you could want. Huge thumbs-up!
