Wonderful hostel I have even lived. Excellent!

The BEST hostel ever! I've stayed in hostels throughout Europe but this is the most unique and most comfortable one. Lily is super nice and the place is better decorated than my house.

So great!!! I would definitely recommend this hostel do anyone who wants a relaxed and cozy non-party hostel! Lilly the host was amazing!

Basically you should believe the reviews, NOT staying here while in vienna would be doing yourself a disservice. It's so nice that laundry is done for you and it's the kind of place that could only exist in vienna, a city with an extremely high standard of living. And lilly is literally the nicest host you'll ever meet. DON'T PASS THIS UP!!!

Lily runs a charming apartment-style hostel just west of the city center. Clean and very cozy. While there were a couple quirks (lukewarm water, stove only partially functional), I would not hesitate to stay here again. Hostel attracts older travelers and those who prefer a quiet chat over a glass of wine to partying until 4am. If you're looking for a wild time, stay elsewhere. Only negative: because it's so comfortable, you and your fellow travelers never want to go out and do or see anything!

The name really says it all.It is hard to believe that a hostel can be so homely. As the description says, all you need to get is yourself (& some clothes); everything is taken care of, be it the bedlinen to the laundry to all meals and even wine to go with it to a fantastic atmosphere. And it is only a stop away from the main train station and 20 minutes walk to the city centre. Of all the hostels that I have stayed in,this is quite easily the best.Many thanks to Lily for a wonderful experience

A great, cozy hostel with great staff (i.e., Lily). This hostel is one reason why I loved my stay in Vienna. If there is availability in this hostel, do not hesitate to reserve your place as you will not be disappointed.

PROS: lily is incredibly nice, comfy beds, breakfast included, free wifi is good, free large lockers in rooms, laundry, kitchen has lots of free spices and pasta and fruit and even wine, CONS: the building is only staffed from 8am-5pm (extremely inconvenient if you need help with anything), the place is mostly full of old people, there is only 1 shower, the hot water often goes off, the stove doesn't work properly, the location is not great (15min to the nearest subway station) OVERRATED IMHO

I could never go to Vienna and stay anywhere else! This was the last hostel of a 2 month trip across Europe and it was like coming home to a cuddle. Most of you would never have stayed anywhere like this before. If you want to Enjoy Vienna for Vienna, then stay here. If you want to party like it's 1999, stay somewhere else and don't ruin this place for the people that will enjoy it for what it is. Staying at Believe it or Not is like staying with a friend and the staff are just divine!

After over a month traveling Europe, I've had the pleasure of staying in numerous world-class hostels. This one stood out as the best. I wouldn't even call it a hostel. They have flawlessly replicated the experience of being a guest in someone's apartment. You have everything you need. And to top it off, Lily and Claudia are the real deal!

Very small but very friendly hostel. Pretty much a very well fitted-out apartment shared by 12 guests.

The absolute best hostel!!! It even comes with free wine. I am going to have steal all their decorating techniques. Lilly, the host, was absolutely the best. Well worth the pennies.

Without a doubt one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. Lily is so lovely, kind and helpful and goes well out of her way to make you feel comfortable. Small, cosy and friendly atmosphere, comfy beds, great shower, cleaned thoroughly daily, yummy breakfast, easy walk into the city centre. Really didn't want to leave Vienna or Believe-it-or-Not. Would stay here again when I'm next in Vienna.

This was possibly the best hostel I have stayed at. I looked like it had recently been re-done, it was more like staying in someones appartment then a hostel. Also the use of 3 laptops and the breakfast were really nice touches. Lilly the staff member is extremely nice and makes the stay even better. Thanks for a great stay in Austria

This hostel is the hostel against which all others will forever be measured in my mind. I already miss Lily and the other travelers I met there. All-inclusive includes laundry, cooking staples, and even a glass of wine! Lily is so nice and goes out of her way to make everyone feel comfortable and at home. The hostel was more like a bed and breakfast; so clean, comfortable beds, fantastic bathroom, really cool design. I would stay there again any time I'm in Vienna.

This place is amaaaaazing! It felt like staying at your friends cozy nice apartment. Everything is included, laundry, some wine, fruit, basic cooking ingredients. The girls that run the place are super friendly! It's not a party hostel, but they know the good places to go and write it on the chalk board. As other people said, the other people in the hostel make the place.

Hostel is a short walk to the main district of Vienna and nearby public transportation. Lily is a great host and very helpful. I would stay here again if coming back to Vienna.
