$70USD/night: The property wasn't well maintained (hang in a dirt yard, or pool with crusting paint?), there wasn't hot water (can live without it, but at this price?!) and it's a half hour walk to the town. The nearby beach and the closest restaurant are 5-10 min walk. The staff were amazing and helped improve a likely case of an absentee landlord. Felt fairly secure, but don't think it's a great neighbourhood. Done better in $15/night hostels, but it was peak season so took what I could get.
