This place was just generally dirty,I didn't even dare to sleep under the covers, room was not swept or bed made up,toilet paper was of the worst quality I came across! I would not recommend this hostel to anyone.

Hostel has a great location and decent rooms/beds but that's about it. Don't expect too much:(

The single rooms are more than you can expect in a hostel, they even have TV!

The location of this hotel is very good but the cleanliness is very poor. They should improve this subject.

The location was great - right near the bell tower and where the airport bus drops you off. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We also liked walking down the hall and reading the graffiti on the walls written by previous guests. The only problem we had was making arrangements for tours and a private car with the front desk. The times they told us to be ready were never right and as a result we were often rushing to get to the bus/car on time. It all worked out in the end though!

For location this place is perfect, near to everything you will need. Staff were very pleasant and polite. The big issue is the building!! Just in a pretty bad state. Could do with a touch of paint, a new shower and an actual matress. If you are just passing through Xi'an one or two nights would be fine especailly with the decent bar downstairs but if you are planning on a longer stay perhaps not. Sorry Bell Tower. x

The staff is horrible!!! They were the rudest people I've ever met when I checked in which really ruined my first impression of Xi'an. The only good thing about the hostel is that it's centrally located in Xi'an and it's a really good price for the money. The private room I got look more like a hotel than a hostel. If you are planning to stay in Xi'an for a day or two it's okay. The staff is definitely hit or miss.

Our room was great with a view of the Bell Tower and they gave us a discount. However, neither our TV or A/C worked very well. The staff were at times friendly or simply rude and cold. They were surprised we took a different tour to one of the tombs than using the hostel's services even though the hostel had quoted us a price 400RMB higher than the other. They did this on two occasions. The staff was hit or miss, especially in the restaurant. They were either luke warm or bothered by us.
