It's full of hipsters. They played loud music during the day and during the evening. If you want to sleep bring ear plugs.

Hi Elisa, we are a youth hostel and we love music! But we are open about any suggestion. If someone don't like the music we turn it off. The next time try to talk with one of the recepcionist and explain that you don't like loud music. I'm sure they are going to turn it down!

The staff's suggestions of places to go were incredible. I really felt as if we got an inside look on Rio especially with regards to cool off the beaten track places close to the hostel, artist hangouts and nightlife. the vibe was really great at the hostel and the back garden was a delight.
