very satisfied as an older customer with the private room on back side of annex. The most annoying thing was that bathroom door on the first floor. You had to slam the door very hard to close it and it would be such a simple job for someone to take the door off the hinges and trim so the door will close properly. I really appreciated having internet available to use.

It was pretty good here. I`d recommend it for anyone who wants somewhere basic. Its in a great location for the cafes and nightlife, though this can make some street side rooms (like ours) a bit noisy. But there was hot water, internet and a basic breakfast, and all the staff spoke english and gave good advice.

I've lost my mobile and the staff gave it back to me, one week after. They are very trustable!

The annex isnīt as lively as the main hostel but you can use the facilities of the main hostel and then go to the quiet building to sleep so it worked out perfectly.

Good location, pool table, fozzball, cool lounge etc... a lot of character and the staff were helpful but we had the private double which was right next to the street and we could hear everything outside. i didnt mind but its just something to consider. The atmosphere was lacking but that was probally due to the dickhead Americans who think everyone should speak English and everywhere should be like the USA.

I stayed at the Bellavista for several days for the last couple of weeks. The hostel was my first hostel experience, and I will say that I was very pleased. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The hostel is well kept and cleaned. It is a great place to meet new people, and really made my time in Chile more enjoyable and pleasant. Anytime I go back to Chile I will stay at the Bellavista without hesitation! Thank you to everyone and espero que puedo volver en 2010!

First hostel I stayed in Santiago. They were welcoming, friendly, bilingual, told me how much to pay for transport and picked me up from the airport. Only stayed a night but will be back.
