A fantastic hostel... One of the reasons why I extended my stay in Santiago. A great place to spend time in a great city. First rate staff, comfortable dorms and good for both travellers who want rest or those that like partying. Definitely recommended.

I am traveling South America alone and this was my 1st hostel-disappointing. One thing is that the location is GREAT, Bellavista is a beautiful, central, and energetic area so that was a plus. BUT the hostel itself is not the best. The staff are unhelpful, it is VERY loud at night especially on the top floor, the kitchen is tiny, the breakfast awful, and the wiFi is virtually non-existent. My advice is to stay at La Casa Roja in Barrio Brasil, met some girls that stayed there...it's BEAUTIFUL!

Bellavista was a great place, I had so much fun the first time, I had to come back. It's clean, the staff is very friendly and the beds are really comfy. The place has a very friendly and social vibe to it and it's easy to meet new people and connect with them. The location is also perfect, right where the action is. If you go to Santiago I definetly reccomend you staying there!

The staff was very nice and helpful. The hostel location was at the heart of everything in Bellavista. I recommend this hostel to anyone who is a first timer in Santiago!

The hostel is very well located and it has a very nice atmosphere, however I booked a room for two people and we were allocated at different building than the one that it is announced on Hostelworld. I didn't know that and it was very disappointing. In addition, one of the crew member was extremely impolite to me, which made me have a bad impression about the hostel.

We didnt´stay in the main building. The problem with that was that the showres were extremely cold. We talked to the staff but they said there wasn´t anything wrong with it. Since there was, if we wanted a nice shower, we had to leave the building in sandals taking our towels to the other one.

They could not find my reservation when I arrived but they offered me a private room until they found out what happened with the system this made me really happy because they found a solution for me different from other places many times. Congratulations for them and thanks for Ariel and Francesca! Many international people staying in this hostel, great location and good staff!!

Food in that area was twice the price of the Andes Hostal, that i stayed in the beguinig of my trip. But the hostal itself was really nice. The staff felt very unpersonal though.

Bellavista is in a fantastic location -- close to restaurants, shops, the subway, and Patio Bellavista. I found both the hostel staff and the Pachamama by Bus staff to be helpful. For location and price, I would recommend this hostel.
