The Belvedere Lodge is a few miles from the center of Cork. Unfortunately the public transport connection to the city isn't very good. The B&B is more like a hotel and the staff was very friendly. The rooms are spacious, but the facilities weren't working...the hair dryer was in pieces and the electric kettle was very dirty. The cleanliness was ok, but the blanket smelled strange. I felt queasy and haven't slept very well. The breakfast wasn't excellent, but okay. Wouldn't stay there again.

I have nothing but great things to say about Belvedere Lodge and its staff. Excellent location, wonderful breakfast included, lovely room, and the most friendly staff of anywhere I've stayed. Vince was particularly helpful upon arrival and during our stay - he even called a restaurant out of town to make a reservation for us.

Far from town... Booked a 3 bed and was given a double and an awful pull out couch.

Great place to stay. The descriptions make it seem like a b&b but it's a lot more like a quaint hotel. Several rooms in the place. Our room had a tv and large bathroom, which were nice after staying in several hostels. Breakfast was AMAZING! You just go down when you want and they get your room number and cook you a full irish breakfast. In the meantime you can grab fruit, juice, cereal. Great place to stay a few nights.
