Welcome to Ben's Place, the perfect holiday destination for the young, independent traveller who is looking for a hostel that offers so much more - for so much less! Built and run by a group of friends from New Zealand and the UK, Ben's Place provides the perfect balance of tranquillity and privacy as well as offering a fun, social environment for your holiday.
The best part about staying with us is that for the same price of renting two single beds in a dorm room in the Itacare township - you can instead enjoy your very own exclusive Studio Apartment complete with double bed, kitchen and private ensuite which overlooks our fabulous pool and tropical garden! If you have a group of four people why not rent one of our One Bedroom Apartments - for even less? We are happy to accommodate you in any way and can also add up to two extra single beds in our two styles of apartments (so they can sleep up to four or six people) for minimal extra cost.
Ben's Place is just a quick 15 minute walk from Pituba, the bustling main street of Itacare filled with shops, bars, restaurants and beaches - but you can get there even quicker by hiring a bike for the day! We can organize tours for you to enjoy outdoor adventures such as surfing, rafting and trekking or to go to beaches and waterfalls further afield for those who want to explore all that Itacare has to offer. We also offer transfers to help you get to your next destination in Brazil. Plus, there is also plenty do around the hostel, sunbathe and swim in the pool, enjoy a social lunch or dinner at one of two BBQ areas - by the pool or on our roof terrace. Or simply sit back, relax and watch a movie after a day at the beach with our free 150' screen outdoor cinema! (under repair at the moment!)
The staff at Ben's Place are friendly, helpful, laid-back and definitely know how to have a good time. So for our guests who want to soak up the Itacare nightlife we welcome you to come and see our boys DJ at the best local bars and clubs in town and dance the night away with us! Or take part in one of our fabulous pizza evenings where staff and guests create delicious pizzas with creative toppings and crispy bases made in our very own pizza oven! YUM!
We pride ourselves on offering the most luxurious setting possible for your holiday at the lowest possible price - you simply won't find better! So come, relax, put your feet up and stay a while… at Ben's Place!

Fantastic place, and I really liked being away from the touristy town centre - its only a 10 min walk away and its really nice to feel like your part of the community walking past kids playing soccer and little weird stores and homes etc! met some great people and for the price, was good value for money - really spacious and chilled out. Itacare is amazing, and I landed up staying for 2 weeks instead of a few days!! Friendly easy going hosts, and just a nice atmosphere all round.
