Fantastic place, and I really liked being away from the touristy town centre - its only a 10 min walk away and its really nice to feel like your part of the community walking past kids playing soccer and little weird stores and homes etc! met some great people and for the price, was good value for money - really spacious and chilled out. Itacare is amazing, and I landed up staying for 2 weeks instead of a few days!! Friendly easy going hosts, and just a nice atmosphere all round.

Loved staying at Ben's! Amazing staff, great atmosphere and nice pool! A bit away from the beaches (30 minutes walk) and the main street (15 minutes walk) but everything else about the hostel is amazing. Best hostel I've ever been!

The location is not perfect but it's okay. And what the place might lack location wise it definitely make up by value for money, atmosphere and an incredible staff.

the owners are very nice and helpful and i also met lots of other great people there. it's a little bit out of town but for this you get in touch with the local people and also a very authentic few of brasil and itacaré. it's totally worth to stay in ben's and i will recommend it to all of my friends. their dog is super cute and the bbqs they make are awsome!

Ben's Place is the place to be! It's location is perfect, just outside the very touristic centre - 'though the walk to town is nothing. The hostel itself is beautiful and very well build and the staff is uncomparable sweet to any other hostel staff we've met so far. Aweh! Go check Ben's when you're in Itacare, you'll have a blast!

This is a very cute little hostel and the english speaking couple that run it are very friendly and helpful. The location is not on the main street, but its only a short 10-15 min walk there. There is a rad dog, Rodney, and he is more than happy to become your friend. This hostel is great value for the money and a fun little place.

Stayed at Bens with my family and we all enjoyed very much. Lovely staff and a great place to hang out. The pool and gameroom was highly beloved by our kids. The place is a bit of centre wich we found to be a good giving a more quiet stay and its a really nice neighborhood with friendly people. Warmly recomended! Magnus

Beautiful hostel... nice swimming pool... 2 ovens to cook pizzas and barbecue.. Stanna and Kirsty are the couple that run it and they are sweet, they make u feel like home... u´re gnna feel really confortable @ this hostel.. for me the best in Itacare.. its a 10 minute walk from the center.. but u´re gnna be grateful for that since its sooo noisy there and its really sweet to have a peaceful and beautiful hostel to come back to...!! Really cool energy at the place...!! LOVED IT!!!

I loved Ben's place! After staying in dorms,using communal kitchens or eating out every day it was such a relief to find a chilled out andaffordable place where we could have our own room and kitchen to boot! Great staff and the property is amazing with tropical plants, bbq (and super impressive pizza oven), great roof top and games area and a massive pool.Off the main tourist stretch so way more authentic and local feel than you would get elsewhere.Our only problem was we never wanted to leave!

Ben's place is the best hostel to stay in Itacare. Great owners, beautiful surrounding, pool and we were well looked after. You get your own kitchen and bathroom in each room, even the dorms and the main town is a short walk away, its awesome value for money as well. Heaps to do in the hostel, and Kirsty and Michael were great helping us out and suggesting places to visit around the place. Loved our time here, it felt like home right away, and we hope we will be back again!

Great hostel slightly off the beaten track with amazing pool, bar, bbq and games facilities. Friendly owners and cleaning staff with good local knowledge, for the real itacare experience. Definately recommend to those who want to enjoy a fun and relaxed environment!
