I wish that I had the chance to stay here longer! The hostel is located kinda far away from central Melbourne, but its in a really cool, funky neighborhood that was very refreshing after staying in the middle of downtown for so long. The staff are just like a giant dysfunctional family always looking to adopt new members--I felt right at home immediately! Free entry to the metal shows downstairs (I don't love metal but great for people watching), discounted beer, and a pool table are all pluses!

Che dire a riguardo.. ho speso in Melbourne circa 20 giorni e sono giunto in questo Hostello poco prima di Natale per rimanerci solo 4 giorni. Il clima, l' atmosfera e le persone che gestiscono questa accomodation, sono a dir poco splendide. Ho passato giorni splendidi.. Lo consiglierei a tutti, cosi come ho fatto con i miei amici c ******************I spent about 20 days in this very nice hostel. The owners are really wonderfull guys e the guys inside are very friendly. A++++ I miss U Tiff

Verry nice hostle! always clean, professional big kitchen, very nice staff, tiffany will help you with every problem you have! and i hat a few crayzy night in their pub :) when i come back to melbourne i'll stay here again :)

One of the best hostels I have seen. Ex Hotel boutiqhe, with a bar/nightclub in the first flor and the acomodation in the second (western movies style). It's a little place (no more than 30 guest) what is perfect to get to know all the people in the place, including the owners which are really frendly and allway looking to know their guests and have some party an conversation. You can feel at home, but with the extra of free entry to the party every day. located at les than 10 min to de center.

I am the backpacker from Hong Kong and I had been stayed in Bendigo hostel for 3 weeks. I am glad to say, it is my pleasure that I can stay in here as my first location in Melbourne. I love the atmosphere and it make me feel very comfortable during living in here. Although the location of Bendigo is not really close to the Melbourne city centre, the transportation is convenient. The bus and tram station is near and it just take 10 minutes for traveling. Final, the Bendigo's kitchen is the best!
