This was a great hostel for the money. It was right near the historical center of Kraków and well connected to a bunch of bus and tram lines. It wasn't exactly the most in-your-face, kick-ass backpacker hostel, and I would have liked more activities. However, it's tough to argue with less than 9 euros a night. I would recommend this joint if you want a chilled-out place to stay for a few nights, but not necessarily if you want to have raging activities planned for you.

Free breakfast is great, keep it like that! Whenever you get a hot shower or a cold one is a mistery, but if lucky it does get very hot! Great and spacious common area, with screen projector and couches!

This is a really nice hostel that provide us with good living condition. Every customers would have their own carbin in the room which is used to lock the valuables. There are also one overhead projector connect to cable television that you can watch TV, which you can get access to more than 200 channels around the world, any time you like and computer in the lobby. The location is great just off the old town. It is a fantastic place for traveller in such a cheap price.

The staff is really nice and helpful! They were just great and helped me a lot! But the facilities are not that clean and the breakfast is not that good.

Hostel is in a great location off the main street, my only complaints were unfortunately about the other guests making a lot of noise in the communal area until 3am and staff doing little/nothing to shut them up, it's an old building and the sound carries. Staff all spoke excellent English, keys available for lockers for 10PLN deposit though these are not big enough for a big bag or case but fine for valuables/small pack. Could do with more sinks in bathroom but were at least clean.

A nice hostel with a big common room, and 3 level bunk beds. The room we stayed at was small and too warm (in my opinion) even it was winter. But anything else are good. Basic breakfast was included in price (toast, jam, margarine and cheese), enough to fill the stomach.

The hostel has a very good location - near to the Train station and the old town. There is a street with shops and ATM's nearby which was very handy. The beds are comfortable and clean, showers are good but there is no place to leave your clothes and towel. Kitchen has everything and the common room is big and comfy. The staff is very helpful, but some of the guests were a little disturbing - there were some pretty old people that looked as if they were living there! Good value for money though.

The hostel is really value for money because for the price paid, we got a decent breakfast and a clean bed to sleep on. The reception is also very helpful and the main market square and buses to the salt mine arejust short walks away. Tours could be booked easily through the reception too. The only problem is if many people shower at one time, the water turns cold and the rooms are a bit small so noise level gets elevated sometimes but what more could we ask for such a price?

this hostel has what you need: a bed, a kitchen (including free tea and coffee) and a toilet. well located (pretty close from bus and train stations) and good value for money (although they charge you an extra 'tourist tax', which is quite low but i think they should specify from the beginning...)

Great staff, specially Kasia. Really nice living room, easy-going people. Great location. And cheap price. We couldn't select a better hostel.

pros: very cheap hostel, breakfast was ok, free internet, hot shower, good kitchen cons: very uncomfortable bed, not so clean, the only way of security is the staff in front of the front door taking care of who is coming and going. No key at the rooms with lockers, though. It's when I hang the bell to get into the building the guy didn't answer and I just opened the door (unlocked) and went through it.
