Excellent location, in Chinatown, one block from waterfront, main bazaar. Helpful friendly staff. Well equipped. Downside is "longhouse style", which means no furniture. No chairs or tables in room, mattress is bed on floor. Hard for an old person like me.

Although Sean is friendly, the place was not at all clean. The hostel doesn't really represent value for money as we were able to get a great room with ensuite bathroom & TV for 5RM more per night in the same location.

very good place to stay in. Clean, extremely helpful staff, specially that man Sean...We spent 4 nights there in total and will spend more in the case we come back to Kuching.

Really conveniently located near the waterfront and pretty close to anywhere you might go. The staff were great (sorry for forgetting to give you the key Shaun, I'll post it back...). A good place to meet other backpackers too! It's probably my favourite hostel we've been to so far.

Sean is really helpful. He helped us to replan our itinerary and gave us a lot of useful information, especially where to get good local food. The living room was great. Being able to watch DVD and laze around in the living room made us feel at home. The location of the hotel is really strategic. You basically can walk to all the popular locations in Kuching. A very recommended place to stay, especially if you are first timer in Kuching, Anything in doubt, just ask Sean!

The place was charming and centrally-located. Our room wasn't great, but did the job.
