It was a nightmare as my Key Lock Card didnt work. The staff only work from 9am-3.30pm and i had to depend on fellow hostellers to get in and out of the building.My things were also stuck in my room which i was only able to get to the next morning after 9am when a staff replaced my Key Lock Card. Not customer oriented at all!It was a nightmare as my Key Lock Card didnt work. Decent hostel.
Pro's: Perfect Location, cant do better. Clean floors, showers and rooms. Nice Kitchen and decent lounge. Friendly staff
Con's: Not the warmest character, more like a clean hospital :P
dont expect nights to be organisd for you. You eat and sleep here, but its easy to meet people.Decent hostel.

The location is quite center of the town. But the water is not hot at all!. It turns to be cold suddenly and then hot , cold . Changes all the time. The room was too small for 6 people!! There were 4 people at the room that day, and we felt very crowded. And we was waked with some bite on our body. So we dont really like it.The location is quite center of the town. The location is quite good, out of my expectation that it's near many landmark of the city. Also, it is near the city centre where lots of shops and restaurants are located. Very convenient and the fish market and tourism centre are just less than 1 min walk from the hostel! The room is clean and tidy, with harmonious design and gave my friends and I a warm and welcoming feeling. I truly recommend you choosing this hostel!!!The location is quite good, out of my expectation that it's near many landmark of the city. We enjoyed our stay in the YMCA in Bergen. It was so close to the centre of town. The only problem was parking, but hey, it's Europe there is a problem parking anywhere in Europe.All the facility's in the hostel were great, and would gladly recomend it to others.We are regular Hostel stayers.We enjoyed our stay in the YMCA in Bergen.
