The directions that are given to you when you book are very confusing whereas the hostel is really easy to find. Go in front of the info desk, turn 360⁰ and walk to the statue on the opposite side, pass it, stop at the end of que square, look right and you will see the hostel. It is a really short distance whereas I walked for half an hour and rain in Bergen is not a joke. It seems that the hostel is almost always full on the week-ends. Be prepared to meet tons of people.

atmosphere heavy, lazy staff, lack of security, lack of cleanliness

Off work too early

The hostel has good facilities, but anyone can come in because there is almost no security (just a 4-digits number easy to obtain). The reception was opening late and closing early, and I was not well advised there. Maybe this is just the wrong season for staying in Bergen. I was really disappointed regarding cleanliness. The kitchen is cleaned up every day, but it's a dirty mess after a few hours only. I recommend the staff to remove the dishwasher and ask people to clean up and be respectful

A pretty average place to be honest but given the expensive nature of Bergen, I'm sure it's one of the more affordable places to stay if just passing by for a day or two. Centrally located, close to all the main city attractions. Wifi is a bonus. Would recommend for a simple, no-frills stint in Bergen.

Warm and welcoming in a brilliant location.

The location is really excellent because just nearby the attractive place in Bergen and nearby town especially the fish market and beside the fish market can take bus to reach airport . Just need to walk .

Is a good hostel in a very good location, with a supermarket alongside. No lockers at the room and the reception closes at night. The room is not bad, with the bathroom inside and a small kitchen.

Pleasant stay but no Wifi in the rooms at all. You have to go down to the second floor common room to use it. Just so you know.
