Hostels in Norway are pricey in general so I suppose I have innate high standards for a places that costs so much. Relatively clean rooms, beds, and bathrooms. Kitchen was practical, lounge room was nice, and dining room was lovely for chilling in when we had some time to kill. Location is great! Biggest problem is that the reception closes mid-afternoon. Our keys stopped working to our room in the evening and had we not run into a roommate, we would've been locked out for a while. Overall nice.

Good hostel at a top location! Security just seemed a little bit poor due to the fact that it was possible to enter te hostel from both restaurants next to the hostel and for using the elevator no keycard was necessary, therefore it is possible for everyone to enter every floor of the building.

I had a great stay at the hostel, it was an absolutely great location, I never had to walk more than 5 minutes to anything. Close to the harbour, Bryggen, the train station, and had a lovely roof terrace. The only downfall, the internet was HORRIBLE! But all in all a great place to stay.

Great little place with nice, clean group showers, well kept rooms, very big kitchen, and multiple common areas. The location can be a bit tricky, it is tucked away on a side street, but it is right where you want to be to see and visit everything in Bergen. While I was there, reception held very short hours (was the holiday, though) but they emailed me and even left me notes with all the info I needed. Very family friendly place, but as such no alcohol is permitted. Great place!

Clean hostel, close walking distance to train station. Reception was never open when we were there.

Excellent location, in a cozy part of central town. Good kitchen and wifi, nice bar next door. Bunks aren't ideal but works fine. Overall good hostel with an excellent location.

The so called free internet 'wifi" was dreadful, no one throughout the time i was staying there could get access to the wifi, you claim to say it was included but when i ask to use the computer to use the internet i had to pay anextra 30 kroner, which i thought was a absolute indictment.

Nice place to stay for a day or two especially when you are in Norway, obviously a very expenive place to be and also very expensive to travel around. This place is the better place to stay in bergen if you are going. The several other hostels are similar priced and just not quite as well equiped. JUst know what you are booking, a hostel on the west coast on norway, an expenive place, be prepared to just see the sights, and this place can assist you with that. All other facilities approrpiate.
