Nobody present when i arrived so i had to make international call & wait 20 mins in -10 before check in, shower curtain doesnt cover shower area and the shower holder is broken, the bed fell apart on me 3 times, the wifi didn't work in the work as promised unless you stand behind the door. No other facilities available. Electric power extensions including the one that powers shower look dangerous and in damp area, Would not go back or recommend. Staff were freindly enough but not the very often

The room was perfect, clean and cozy. Great price. We took a double room and the shower was right in front of the bed :) BUT There´s no staff, if anything goes wrong you are screwed. Upon arrival you collect the key from a Cafe near by, When check out time a woman shows up, get the money and disappear. My girl FORGOT the train ticket inside of the room, she realized one hour after and we COULDN´T GET INSIDE the hostel to search for it! Also is better to stay in East than West Berlin.

It was fine, nice and cheap and not too far away from the train station. Staff are not there very often but the system of collecting keys from the bar next door seems to work fine. Like everyone says, the shower in the middle of the room is a bit weird but not a big issue unless you are trying to sleep in late.

Staff were never there and the hostel is a long way from the centre of berlin. There is also no comman area so for someone like me who was traveling alone, it was pretty rubbish for meeting new people. Im sure there are better hostels in Berlin where you will have a lot more fun!

+ = The hostel is very clean although it looks a bit old. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is nice although it was a bit difficult to find the hostel - = The room (near the reception desk) was too noisy: I could hear the lift moving, the bell ringing, the staff preparing the breakfast for the morning... Ask for a receipt for breakfast: I was told I didnt pay it although I paid EVERYTHING in advance (nights and breakfasts). It was a bit humiliating... Reception always empty

A shower in the dorm? First I thought that is funny but when the first guy started to get ready for the day at 6 am, a shower in the room is not the best idea ever.........................
