It was a very good experience. The hostel is not far from the U-Bahn station, the owner is really nice, the room was big and clean. In the kitchen you may find anything you want for cooking. Bathrooms are clean and cozy. It seems that next time i would stay there again.

Clean and nice apartment, although quite old. Kitchen is well-equipped and the owner is really nice and friendly. the house is located in the center of West Berlin and all public transportations are nearby.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and would happily return again on future travels to Berlin.

We stayed here during my girlfriend's spring break, (She's a 1st grade teacher.) and thought it was a good value for the money. It's a little outside the city center, but it's only an easy metro ride to the touristy areas. Also, it's really close to the bus station. It'sl is more like a bed and breakfast, very large rooms, (ours had a balcony) acouple shared bathrooms, and a shared kitchen. The people who said it is dirty are snobs, he may not have a commercial cleaning crew, but it's not dirty.

I am used to hotels. But Berlin Cityroom is so much better. And in comparison to costs the best you can get for that money and then something more. I can absolutely reccomment Berlin Cityroom.

We had a lovely stay here! Nice quiet hostel, more like a giant apartment with rooms for guests. We had a huge room for three of us with a sink in the room, bathrooms and kitchen down the hall. The owner was very, very friendly; he was there to greet us when we arrived, gave us a tour and definitely wanted to make sure we were comfortable. We even came back on New Year's Day to find a complimentary bottle of champagne (Sekt) from him! Location good, quick trip to Zoologischer Garten by U-Bahn.
