Great, clean hostel. Walking distance from Potsdamer Platz. The breakfast is the most varied I've ever seen at any hostel, definitely worth it. The rooms and showers/toilets are all very clean. It's more a family hostel than a youth hostel, lots of families there. There's a friendly atmosphere. The only thing I can think of to improve it is that the rooms could have done with more power outlets.

Excellent & complete breakfast offered FruwFriendly staff very helpful

The hostel is well located 20 minutes walking to Brandenburg gate and surroundings. Very organized, the breakfast is incredible and the hostel is unbelievably huge. The only down is if you intend to meet others backpackers in there then forget about it. The hostel is completely fueled with kids, a bunch of them, a thousand kids and refugees which break the dynamic atmosphere that backpackers are used to!

The hostel is good, safe, clean, good staff, most part of the people stayed there are younger so remember me a school atmosphere but it was really nice to make new friends and fell at home. The price is great, even the dinner was really cheaper. For sure I'll be back!

This is an excellent option to stay in Berlin, especially if you need a bedroom for a small group (up to 5 persons). Generous breakfasts is a definite advantage. Excellent location close to Potsdamer Platz and Tiergarten Park. If you prefer walking sightseeing activities it is a quite convenient starting point for it. The only thing to improve is ventilation of showers. In hot days a minute after taking shower you get sweat like in a good sauna before you can go out of shower cabin.

not at all youth hostel. stayed with 6 men that were over 55 so that explains atmosphere. no kitche. free breakfast which isn't bad. close to potsdamer platz but that's about it

It's really no clean hostel.

The hostel was nice, had all the basic facilities you would want and need for a hostel. People staying at this hostel are mostly elderly couples and large school groups. The breakfast is really nice though, worth to wake up for! If you are not looking for a hostel to meet people and want a cheap place to stay in Berlin, this is the hostel for you! Furthermore, as a girl traveling by my self, I did not feel safe walking around at night, bit far from public transport.

Felt like a retirement home more than a hostel

Location is easily accessible by M29 bus and instructions to the hostel is easy to follow. However, the area is a bit quiet. Several tour groups and it really isn't a 'youth' hostel. The shower and washroom was great.

Friendly staff, delicious food available for breakfast, comfortable beds and a safe security cabinet. Relatively central! All in all, great value for money!

The hostel is rather big and a bit institutional, but the staff is very helpful. Large and varied buffet breakfast makes the hostel an excellent value for money.
