With exception of the small room for four adults, everything was okey. Thank you for being so neat and clean and ironed sheets and tidy kitchen.

The man who served me at checkin was really nice and helpful. The hostel had one of the best common rooms and best equiped kitchens I've seen at a hostel (shame they don't do breakfast). I have to say that the bed was extremely comfy and cosy.

Clean spacious bathrooms, great location, lots of info around - no complaints other than sluggish wifi.

Everything was great, it was beyond my expectation, for female, it's a whole world of shopping right behind your back and we lived right in the heart of the Old town of Bern. That's the greatest budget accommodation that I would recommend in Bern! How fabulous this place is! The receptionists, Caroline and her husband was so friendly and helpful. It is no doubt that I have made the best choice of this hostel. Luv it!

Our week stay was great, great location right in the heart of the city, exceptionally clean, best common room and kitchen on our trip, great beds and big lockers in rooms, wifi even worked in rooms, staff very helpful. Overall great value for switzerland, and would stay there again.

What can you say... we booked the hostel because it was ranked as one of the highest (had won some awards) but we found it all together average compared to many others we've been to. It's not to say that it is bad but when your expectations are high it's a bit of a let down. The rooms were smaller then we had expected (for a private room) and the staff weren't overly friendly or helpful (except for one girl). That being said the location is great and everything was still clean and tidy.

I loved the warm, welcoming and holiday feel of the common area. Kitchen was well equipped and great for making dinners in, as the swiss francs can break the bank! The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was central, 10 minute walk from the train station and right in the heart of old town.

This hostel was easy to find and in an excellent location. It had a good common room with a good kitchen. The rooms clean and there were large lockers for your belongings. I have been to many hostels and this hostel was good but definitely not worth 30 Euros. If you can find cheaper do it otherwise this place is very good

Very good, the only bad point is that they don't serve breakfast. Apart from that I strongly recommend this hostel

The place was good, but is not cheap if you consider that rooms are not so big and internet connection is not free.

We stay in twin shared bathroom. bathroom was clean but water pressure was weak. Common room was welcoming but not all the staffs were (the lady who checked us in was pretty "serious" with no smile on face). The room heater not strong enough. the wifi was weak in room. the bed was not comfortable (sink down). Overall, not quite happy with our stay. Would I stay again if I return to bern? NO.

the attitude there from SOME of the staff, was give us money, say nothing, ask nothing and leave right away
