It's unfortunate that there are limited reception hours, and that WiFi is only in the common room. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.
I had a great time there! The location was great and staff was really nice and helpful! Would stay there again.
Great location, great facilities, not too many young people here though.
Located in the old part of Bern which is really cool. They give you a bus ticket that lasts your entire stay. Kitchen and laundry if you need it. I would definitely return.
+ A nice hostel at an unbeatable location, staff is friendly and the shared bathroom was perfectly clean. - At weekends the bar on the ground floor is really loud, earplugs are provided by the hostel - that helps. Wifi only in the lobby.
The staff was really great at giving suggestions, and you can rent a fondue kit from them, which is a good way to experience a Swiss meal! Also, you couldn't be closer to the best parts of Bern: Everything is at most 10 minutes away, but usually only a 1 minute walk!
Fantastic location. Good value for money (in the context of expensive Switzerland). I would stay here again. My only complaint is about the lack of plug sockets/power points in both the rooms & common area.
Great place! Excellent kitchen. Everything is clean and comfortable. Staff was quite pleasant, too. Right in the center of Bern's old city.
Common room/kitchen was awesome :). After that, the rooms were a bit disappointing. Smelt strange and were a but sparse.
The hostel is well ubicated because you can go everywhere just walking. I will definitely recommend this place to stay.
Great location and friendly staff. I loved the kitchen, clean and comprehensive. I like the feel of the room as well - nice and cosy.
Very good service and center location is super.
Staff very helpful,Very clean and comfortable place of stay
Excellent place to stay! Located a bit far from the station-have to take a tram or else do a 15 minute walk from station. They give a transport pass for the number of days one stays. Restrooms are very neatly maintained.
The problem with Bern is it is just insanely expensive. There is also very little to do if you aren't there on a weekend. So if you have money on the weekend then it's a great little town with a few jems dotted around. The hostel itself is not bad, it does have a loud nightclub downstairs which plays loud top40 hits through the hostel till about 2am. Overall it's the cheapest/only hostel around! So yeah! I recommend bringing earplugs or a fair bit of money on weekends!

Stayed two nights and had a really awesome time! Everything clean and good facilities. The staff didn't really help a lot when it came to day trips to the alps though but other than that great stay!
A well setup hostel in a perfect location just off one of the main streets in the old town, there was a big kitchen with everything one could need, an enormous common room with couches, books, board games to borrow and a movie every night. Also a laundry available. We found the atmosphere a bit quiet as young people, but it was cosy and comfortable.
The hostel is directly above a nightclub which is open until the early hours of the morning. The music could be heard, still very loudly, even on the fourth floor.
Nice common area and kitchen well eqiped. They rent stuff to make your own fondu which is awesome!!! Rooms are nice with a light for each bunk. But would need more power outlet. Really well situated in the old town. Just missing that backpackers atmosphere...
