Berolina Backpacker Reviews

If you are looking for a cheap but good place to sleep, I strongly reccomend you Berolina. Localisation is very good its not in the city center but you have the urban railway like 250m from the hostel and with it in 15 minutes you are in the center of the city. Bathrooms even each one is for 3 rooms are very very clean. The rooms areclean and big enough, beds are comfortable but of course dont expect Hilton conditions, but for a short trip with not big budget its totally good place to stay.

One of the staff was really nice an helpful. The room was cozy and they have free lockers. The shower is annoying with the water splashing all over. There is no way for you to have privacy while you have a shower as people who use the toilet or the washing basin can see you inside the cubic tray. Funny!

I had a nice and quiet stay in this clean hostel in an excellent location. Everything is easily reached by public transport. Don't forget to check out their restaurant 'Lene' serving excellent crepes.

everything is perfect!but the breakfast is a little bit expensive

A cute little hostel, very easy to find as it is literally outside Charlottenburg S-bahn station, U-bahn a 5-minute walk away. The private single room was bigger than I expected and had a sink. The only minus was that there was only one toilet for ladies at least on our floor, and it was all the way at the other end of the corridoor.

It was quiet and nice, but the overall atmosphere was a bit "desertic" - no character at all. The room was clean, but smelly - I guess that depended on the carpeted floor. Full normal breakfast was offered for the price of 7 Euros, definitely too expensive for Berlin.

You should get Wi-Fi in the rooms aswell, its annoying having to go to the breakfast room to check your emails and so forth.

Berolina hostel is very big and have a lots rooms, the staff is very serious but in the same street have a restaurant Areperia Berlin, We have nice time here, the personal are latinos and are very friendly and the food is delicious, traditional Southamerica´s food!, this is the best in Berolina hostel, i dont like impersonal ambient but always is like this when you go a big hostels ah and only have internet in the recepcion area...

Kitchen was very dirty, and lacked many basic necessities like forks, spoons, plates. did not feel safe in this hostel. would not stay again.

Decent enough place next to an S-Bahn stop. The fact that they charge for things like kitchen use and fridge use (!) rather leaves a bad taste.
