The hostel is situated in the city centre and you can reach all sights on foot. Unfortunately, the facility was very poor. The hostel seems to be a big flat on the third floor of an old house of the 70th/80th. The rented two double bed rooms. One was a tiny room you could only reach by going through the kitchen. The other one had a broken double bed which was moving all night. Both rooms contained very old furniture and didn't look like the rooms of the pictures. Definitely, not the best choice!

The location is excellent- in the heart of the Malaga city center. Rooms and toilets are clean, breakfest is served late enough to sleep well :) There were two things I didn't like: -First: I booked double room and I received nothing but a twin room (two beds were stuck together imitating one big bed) -Second: It was impossible to leave the luggage for couple of hours after check-out which is normal and possible in most of the hostels I have stayed in.

The only good thing about this place was its location. Apart of that, the place is a bit hostile towards guests. They should have some training on hospitality, because they certainly don't know how to please the guests. The breakfast with plastic cups and dishes was ridiculous. I would prefer to wash my own dishes and have a proper breakfast. The breakfast juice was like water. The rooms were noisy. Well... I wouldn't stay here again.

Owner Comment (Show)
To be honest your comment surprised me, because the truth you must observe the other reviews that I have and most say that the staff is excellent, about the plastic cups and plates, hahaha I see there is much ignorance on your part, as they are disposable and so for reasons of hygiene, and most people do not like to use plates, cups and cutlery used by other people even though that can be washed, in relation to noise for 40 euros at the center malaga historic is what I can offer, if you want more silence you must go to a 5 star hotel, they will isolate you in a room and you will pay 200 euros a night, I even gave you sugar to cook a cake and gave you the kitchen, don't know what else you intended, and the truth is we are the least hostile.

The hostel was good, even it had just shared bathroom, cos it was really clean, the bathroom and the room either. The owner was so kind and really done everything for our great stay. The breakfast is serving from 10am, but we had to go to the airport in the early morning, so we would have missed the breakfast. But, the owner prepared for us some cookies and coffee, i think thats u can call friendly staff and good hospitality. It was an awesome value for our money in the amazing Malaga.

Pristine-clean place with super-nice staff. Included breakfast isn't worth mentioning except fot meeting fellow travelers (otherwise you'd better have a good café con leche y tostadas for next to nothing outside). Also, I don't quite get the idea of locking up the kitchen at night, for if you want to cook dinner or just need a glass, you'd have to ask. Mini-fridge in the room is a plus, though. All in all, a cheap, clean and safe place for a short stay.

Place is easy to find and hosts are really very kind and helpful. It is a building that appears really secure and safe. But the whole city seems cozy and friendly so this is just the added value. Rooms are simple and really clean, bathroom as well. It has a huge living room with balcony looking over the streets. If you're traveling alone, might be a lonely place, but I believe hosts will do their best to help you find a way around. If you're in the group - perfect stay!

Had a great stay at the Best Choice Rooms Malaga. There for the Easter weekend with 3 friends. Perfect location in a great city. Friendly and halpful staff too. Would definitely recommend. Room was noisy during the parade, but that was the only downside. Small price to pay for a great location and great value for money. Would definitely go back for another stay!
