PROS: fantastic location, comfortable beds, great bathrooms. CONS: no lockers, poor breakfast, unprofessional management. DIRECTIONS ADVICE (!): from "Rialto" you cross over the main bridge and walk straight ahead through a long area of market stalls until you come to a little square. To the right is a covered market hall (fish market). You walk over towards the top left corner of the square, go over a small bridge and down some steps. Take the TINY alley straight ahead, then the first right :)

Great location for hostel - right in the centre of Venice and walking distance to San Marco square. Atmosphere was not particularly social so it was difficult to meet other people as a solo traveller.

The hostel was a 'little' difficult to find but very worth it. I thought the location was excellent, very close to the Rialto Bridge and situated amongst the bustle of the fish and fruit market. All sestieres are easily accessible and right outside the hostel on the corner is an excellent osterie, with lovely pizza. The staff at the hostel were friendly, we were able to leave our bags in the office for the day before our departure. The hostel was very clean, spacious and I would definitly return.

Location is good, near to the Fish Market and other main attractions. But,it's difficult to find if it's your 1st time to go to Venice. But,the owner is good, he waited me in the fish market and picked me to the accommodation. There is different kinds of food and drinks u could choose for breakfast, including packed biscuits, breads, croissants, milk, juice, coffee and tea. But,one little thing should be stated more clearly on the website is that a $3 city tax will be charged on top of the fees.

Everything was clean, good, satisfactory as it should be. The manager is a very direct, no-nonsense gentleman, but he'll take care of you. They provide towels and soap, which was a nice surprise. The location is unbeatable! Especially since my friends and I were there for Carnevale. Definitely good security. Key for the main door, the door to the rooms, and then the door to your room.

Strange, unwelcoming place where going to the kitchen to get a glass of water after the kitchen was 'shut' was treated as an act of subversion.

Great atmosphere, my wife got a discount for being beautiful :) one negative point: it's a bit tricky to find and I think the address has changed from when we booked it, so check it before you leave; nevertheless, a great place to stay - we highly reccomend it.

I dont have any complaints because the guy at the front desk gave us the wrong room. we booked a 6bed dorm room but instead were given a private room with a king bed!! great location. The main manager is a total douche but i just ended up being rude and sarcastic back to him and really entertained myself. The stove/oven doesnt work which is brutal because this amazing fish market is right next to the hostel and all you want to do is buy everything and cook it all up. i would stay again.
