Excellent location, just your usual basic hostel,
Not really friendly staff and the wifi worked well only in a couple of spots
Its just from two minutes by walking to Sultanahmed Square and 5 minutes to the Bosforus cost. They are some food magazines very closed also. The people that work on the hostel it's super friendly. We where all the nights talking, playing music, drinking beers...with lots of travellers. I really recommended this hostel that also, is the cheapest in the area.
The place was really enjoyable. The location can't be beat, but the dormitory 16 bed is really crammed, and there were NO LOCKERS! Some problems with the internet expressed by multiple people, but it seems one of the connections worked, the other was not working. All in all, we would come back. Good people, good place, good times
No lockers, but the people at the front desk will watch your stuff. although they are not always sitting at the desk and your stuff can be unattended, but the place is loaded with security cameras, so catching a thief I am sure is easy. I felt comfortable leaving my ipad and such at the front desk. I would stay there again.
Location is perfect, some of the staff are very nice. The only thing wrong was there was no lock on the bathroom door, so you either had 13 people walking in on you or you have to hold the door shut while you're in there
I was only coming back to Istanbul for one night and wanted somewhere cheap since I was leaving early for the airport. I paid 13 lira for a dirty mattress that looked like they pulled it out of a crack house. There were 6 mattresses on a covered balcony, supplied with dirty looking fleece blankets and pillows without pillow cases. The bathrooms were poorly equiped and they technically make you buy their beer and prohibit outside beer.
the stuff behaves was very bad. much dirty blankets and stairs was much narrow and dangerous.
Love the staff. They were pretty good and helpful. Also location of this hostel is awesome ! Ancient parts of the city are a few minutes of walking distance away. And sleeping with a beautiful Bosphorus view on the terrace was a really good experience as well...
Great deal for the money. The outdoor patio creates a very friendly atmosphere. The wifi was really unreliable so try and have your trip planned before you go to avoid frustration. They have an extemely adorable resident puppy named jo jo, which really adds to the atmopshere. :) Overall, we had a great experience!
two great things about this hostel are the location and the view from the top shared room - its amazing! cleanliness of the beds in the dorm room is questionable, it didnt look they change the sheets every day, plus the blankets were dirty - i witnessed them putting the wet blankets (after it rained) from the rooftop patio inside to dry...also the showers didnt have any hooks or place to put your stuff on..the turkish breakfast in the morning was fabulous!
not enough bathrooms!! bathrooms need to be fixed!!! staff was not helpful at all! but the location is great, all the major sights are within walking distance!
Great place good price Dirty. Wifi works badly. No room for bags. Averadge breakfast. No kitchen. Drinks from shop are not allowed
This hostel was one of the worst hostels I have ever been to and I am not very picky. The stuff was very rude and tried to sell me the room at higher rates than booked online (which happened also to other people). if you want to use the kitchen it is only possible after 5pm. if you use gas for cooking they wanna charge you 5 TL (this is not written on hostelworld). there are only 1 shower and toilet on each floor and often the paper and soap was empty :(

the worst hostel in Istanbul. I never seen this awful hostel before though I stayed 8 hostels in whole turkey in one month. In the dorm, there were rude dirty old guys who stayed there long time and using 2 beds for their bags and stuffs. even when one couple arrived at room, they couldn't find any available beds because of his bags. I think that is a better way to sleep on a street than staying their. disgusting! like a nightmare! staff are also irresponsible! insulting!

I've tried to buy a bottle of water and nobody had the key. I had to go in other hotel to buy it.
Thank you for being helpful and nice. I hope I left a real but nice commet for you. I liked the place and the room, even if very small. I liked the atmosphere and I will recommend you to my friends (hopefully will come back sometimes in Istanbul). You should provide lockers for dorms and also at least one keys for each person, as I've heard many complaining about this. Thanks again :) Radouan + Cecilia
