This hostel was a lot of fun and the houseman, Richard, he was great. Very helpful. I was there 8 days and it was awesome Jamaica experance. They even made some improvments in the kitchen while I was there. I had to wake the owner at 3AM because I didn't have my key. He didn't make me feel bad or anything; just took care of it. Thanks, Bethel Court!

Good place, hot water, clean, free pc with internet, good lockers, helpful staff anytime of the day. A little away from MoBay and beaches, but route taxi take you there for J$80 (=US$1) in less than 10 min.

I thoroughly enjoyed the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Steve and Richard are super. They were always willing to help in any way they can. The facilities were clean and secure. The guests were always friendly.I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to other people. The only other thing would be that I think an additional discount should be given to those staying three days or more.It was a very pleasant stay.

Really nice guesthouse to stay if you like to get to know the real Jamaica, because it is located in an area of local homes away from the usual Hotel complexes. For 80JD you can easily get to downtoen in a rouete taxi and it just takes you about 10min to get to the beach too. The Guesthouse is consists of different small houses and has a cousy atmosphere with small but nice rooms with lockers and enough bath facilities. the owner is really friendly too and likes to help you out with any question

My husband and I truly enjoyed our short stay here. We were very comfortable and relaxed. Both of us have decided that we will be staying Bethel Court again. This time we will make full use of the kitchen. We won't mind staying in the same unit again. I recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a great, comfortable and clean environment. We really felt secure on the premises.

The guesthouse is more off the hip strip than when looking at the map but it offers a great value for the money spent it is quiet, secure with plenty of restaurants and sights around it. A taxi service is also available for excursions and is very easy to travel back and forth.

I just came back from 1 week vacation in montego bay where me and my sister stayed there.I have only good things to say about my stay This guest house is not expensive and create a nice atmosphere for your vacation. At our arrival Mckenzie the taxi driver came to pick us up (it’s free!) and he did a little presentation of the city on our way to the guest house He is really nice and care a lot about the guest, we did all our visit with him, we felt like we were his friend.Do the Tours with Him!

The staff is friendly and it's a good spot to get in contact with other travelers, but the hostel is located near the ghetto, it is not really clean and the common area lacks atmosphere. With some small adjustments (e.g. a couch in the common area, an equipped kitchen) this hostel could be excellent. BTW: don't accept the offer to let the driver pick you up if you're in a dorm: the owner charges you US$15, as a route taxi will cost you around 200J$ (=2US$) per person.

The best guide and "taxi" driver Mckensie will help you to make your vacation unforgettable with the "no problem" Jamaican spirit :)

The "common room" has a few plastic chairs, but it's not inviting or comfortable. You get keys to the room. Location is not great - you have to get a taxi to go anywhere, and the hostel driver overcharges. Staff push their own tours too much, I felt pressured to spend money on them rather than them just telling me what there was to do or see (and they're not keen to tell you anything they don't offer). No hot water in showers. Kitchen available. Clean.
