The only thing I can complain about is that when you do the check out, you have to leave the hostel. you can not be waiting in the living room for example. The youth hostel is asked to leave. And no safe place to store your bags after check-out location. the more all cool.

Sorry, but we do offer a safe place where to leave your luggage. And it is true that we do not always accept passengers staying in common areas after check out. This depends on our occupation; if we are full, then is not an option. Accepting this, we´d be giving a worse service. Thanks for your comments and your time.

We loved the hostel from the moment we walked through the doors. It is a beautiful old building and has a great atmosphere. There are different areas for relaxing, eating and use of the kitchen and roof garden make it a lovely place to hang out. The internet was great and the air conditioning was also brilliant. It is near the Costanera which we were told about and a beach 5 minutes away where we swam. We also went round the old town and its squares and churches.

The hostel was in quite a good location for places to eat, getting around etc. although a 35(ish) peso ride from the bus station as you can't ride the local buses without coins, so taxis are the only option. The staff were really helpful and gave us lots of info for getting to Ibera. A little over priced, but the only hostel in Corrientes so there isn't another choice. Showers were terrible.

Mr. Juan and staff helped me in everything I needed in Corrientes (rates, public transportation, restaurants). The hostel is very well located, close to public transport, the edge of the river, restaurants and the city center.

Nice for a short stay in relaxing corrientes. Pretty, spacious and safe. Staff spoke hardly english and was not super friendly. Not much alone travellers. But again very pretty, good value for money!

Beautiful hostel in Corrientes. Lots of charm and historical significance in the building. Strong wifi and good breakfast. Only improvement would be the addition of air conditioning. It was so hot and the only tool they had were fans to push around the hot air. Definitely need a better cooling system, other than that it was a lovely place to stay.

It's a bit pricey but the building is so beautiful, and the dorms so spacey and comfortable it's worth it if you can afford it! The bathrooms are really nice too, and all the staff were lovely

A very quiet hostel. We loved this hostel a lot until the day we were checking out and had about an hour to kill before our bus left at 6:30 pm. We were quietly sitting in the common room and the hostel employee essentially kicked us out -- and not nicely. I've stayed in many hostels and never had a problem with spending time in the common areas the day of check-out.. So be aware you might be wandering around Corrientes all day if you a late departure.

We always offer a late check out option wich allows you to stay in the hostel, have a meal, use the shoiwers, etc. It has a cost and you have to give advice you´ll take this service. The day you were leaving, the hostel was full; quiet but full. We offer a very good attention to all our passengers due to our normatives. If the hostel is half full, we have no problem with passengers sitting in the common room. You had an option and didn´t take it. Don´t blame us. Very poor your rating. Pity.

Nice hostel. Warm staff and good breakfast. Place has character and has decent social areas with working wifi. Could be a little noisy but this is more who was staying there. Rooms were good and beds/lockers were very good. Bathrooms were pretty good and from memory hot water wasn't an issue.

Beautiful and clean hostel.

This hostel is the only one in town and it feels like it. They have very little incentive to be awesome because there is no competition. There were flies in both the showers. No air conditioning. Staff speaks some English. There is also not much to do in Corrientes, I dont know why I went.

Everybody has a moment for travelling. Obviously this wasn´t yours. All our staff speaks english perfect, portuguese and french; besides spanish. You chose a non air conditioning room cause of the price, of course (we have all air conditioning rooms, but one). And on your last comment, I´d say it has nothing to do with us but the city and during your staying here, THE CITY offered: -Carnival; one of the most popular in Argentina -Chamamé; our music, our folk. You can go everywhere and listen a good Chamamé -Boat trips; we offer trips to some islands and all down the river till the bridge; fishing and sports. -Beaches; the best time of the year for enjoying our beatifull river Paraná. -400 years of history; its arquitecture calls you to walk around and enjoy. -... We are in continuous effort and comments like yours (with evil) really damages our reputation unfairly. Hope you reconsider on other reviews.

This hostel has everything you need and more. I stayed in the double room which is like a presidential suite! No bathroom, but the shared bathrooms are clean and really nice. ONLY reasonable budget accommodation in Corrientes!

Most comfortable bed of any hostel I've ever stayed in.

The hostel is extremelly clean. What you found in Corrientes were not cockroachs, but light and wet insects, wich appears once or twice a year. We make extreme effort about cleanliness and higiene in our hostel, besides attention and other stuff. You make a very poor rating of Bienvenida Golondrina, wich really affects us, because we are a very new hostel. You can see that most of the comments are really good and over 85%. I would really appreciate you reconsider the punctuation you gave us, wich I repeat, I think is not true and isn´t based on the hostel, but the city. Regards. Juan Llauradó.
